Used to use my fitness pal, and it became way too buggy, bloated, ad-ridden and just a UI mess to navigate. I found this calorie counter, and while it doesn't have as good of a food finder (yet), it is by far a cleaner, more enjoyable experience. There are some improvements to be made, but this is my new accountability partner, and I recommend!

Works well for tracking basic metrics and calorie counting. I like the macro chart that it provides as well. However, the 3rd party integrations are somewhat lacking and I find that scanning food items by barcode is hit and miss. It doesn't seem like the barcode database includes as many food items as another app I've used. Still, it works well and I'll be sticking with it for a while.

I love this thing! I've tried others, but this is the only one that let's you adjust your daily calorie goals without jumping through pages of calculations and has an extensive database of food added by real users. I haven't been pestered by any ads, and it seems the only thing lacking in the free version are meal plans, which I don't need. Highly recommend this for anyone serious about keeping track of progress and meeting goals.

Easy to use and very functional. I could track everything I needed to track right here. I found out where I was taking in the largest amount of calories and now I pay attention to those foods and make sure not to go overboard. I lost 20lbs a year ago, kept it off, and I'm planning another 10-15 this spring. So much easier with this app.

Great Calorie Counter with a Terrible Name. Every item has the option to be entered in grams or in servings. It is easy to enter new food items. The interface is simple enough. It is easy to create flexible recipes as "meals" which can then be adjusted ingredient by ingredient if you need to. I wanted a calorie counter as good as Spark People. This is it.

This app tracks your daily meals, exercise and weight and provides detailed reports. The food database is quite comprehensive. While there are similar apps, this one doesn't require excessive permissions. However, two flaws detract from an otherwise very good app. The database search function is very literal and cannot find items that are even slightly spelled differently. It is too easy to delete an entry by accidentally swiping left due to the lack of a "confirm delete" function.

I've never counted calories but as I've gotten older (and retired) it's been tough to keep my weight down. This app makes it super easy to set a daily calorie goal and the database for foods is excellent. I thought I'd starve counting calories, but knowing how many calories I've consumed and how many I have left everyday has allowed me to snack (within reason) and not feel guilty. With the app, I know I can indulge, and cut back on other foods with an easy to use running total each day, great

When my prior app of 20+ years decided to deplatform, I looked around for something that would allow me to easily do what I enjoy which is tracking my intake. I also wanted something that would allow me to easily add foods, group them, and copy them. This has been great!

I first began using this app 10 years ago. I found it to be really helpful in keeping myself aware of what I was eating in a day. I stopped using it around 2016/2017 not because the app wasn't helpful but because I was going through a negative phase in my life that kept me from really wanting to monitor my health. I briefly started using it again in 2020, but, well you know, 2020. Anyway, this year I became concerned because my weight had ballooned to 123. That isn't an unhealthy weight for most women, but I'm only 4' 11" and the reality is 123 plus body fat measurements put me squarely in the obese category. I decided to commit to adding strength training and keeping track of not just calories, but nutrients like total daily carbs, protein and fat intake. I looked at many other apps, but was surprised to find a review that said I could track all those with the FatSecret app. I am so impressed by the changes and improvements that have been made in the years since I last used it. It's so easy to literally see how foods I consume are effecting my over all health. I don't have to look for another app because this one does everything I need it to do.

They took away the restaurant lookup but you can still get most items, you have to type in the restaurant. Not as good but still workable. I've been happy with this app for 6 years. But I wish the Android version let me make multiple selections on the restaurant page like the A
