Eminently useful and satisfyingly so! The words I've sought so far are all there, the interface is excellent, and there are no ads or sales efforts aimed at me. An wonderful feature is that because of its connecting to Wiktionary one may add missing definitions by contributing to it. There's nothing condescending in any aspect of the software, it's design, or in the graphics, which means it's not annoying like most reference material software is. Kudos

This app offers almost everything you could want from a dictionary app: offline, multiple definitions, word etymology, synonyms, antonyms, and an ability to "favorite" words you want to remember. The app also has minimal permissions for its fxn; it doesn't ask to see your contacts or use your camera. I'd give this app five stars, if not for the fact that the function to read words aloud doesn't function. Edit: Problem was due to text-to-speech error, not app, so 5 stars for the app.

I have used this app for nearly a year now. It's like carrying around a Webster's Dictionary of the highest class (only alot lighter). The predictive search makes things easy to find, and the definitions are highly accurate and very concise. I won't use any other English dictionary app. This one is my go-to.

A wonderful dictionary replete with examples and etymologies. Doesn't limit itself to a few meanings, and is vastly comprehensive.

Currently, the best out there without a doubt. It has the concise meaning of almost every possible word. One can search for any word swiftly with no interruption of any kind of ads. Loved it, really. Thank you Livio & Wiktionary Edit(21/06/22): A small suggestion. Since I have a huge list of history, bookmarks and notes in the app, it would be great to see a feature allowing the ability to search in those sections for easily finding out the exact word instead of scrolling all the way to that.

A wonderful Dictionary of all times. I've been using it for over 5 years now. I've seen it transform into a better user friendly platform. Maybe if I can request for something, it could be the backup and restore functions, if you can let the app frequently back itself up maybe on google drive or onedrive without human interaction. This is because as people we frequently change cellular devices and install apps again, and losing historical data and favorited data is just meehh. Love. ✌️

I personally use and would this Dictionary it's 5/5. Although it's not that impeccable, but mind you nothing in this planet earth is perfect. Atleast, the app stands out among its competitors. It provides options for text-to-speech output, synonyms, antonyms, etymology, and among others. It also allows users to make some notes if applicable. My suggestions are: to provide a Backup feature so that user's can recover there vocabularies, secondly, to add more Example sentences, this is paramount!

Great linking structure, thesaurus and bookmarking system. Related word Links enables you to dive deeper and see how words connect. However, the app is missing a feature that could scale learning processes. A flashcard functionality! Ability to add certain words to a collection and learn them with spaced repetition. Never have to forget the meaning of a word again.
