Used to be a great game now over loaded with ads, runs slow and crashes a lot. Edit: recently reinstalled angry birds, the ads are gone and it works great just like old times we will love it again.

I am having all the same issues the most recent reviews are giving. Starting January 20, 2022I've been playing this app for years and love it. But I'm very disappointed that all the usual fixes for crashing apps aren't working for this one. Please fix this app. 1 star. Update: The app started working again around February 10, 2022. THANK YOU! 5 stars

Played on and off for years. I can still enjoy the game, but it's been bloated. However I do like the Shockwave bird, which I only use when I'm in a real pickle. But my only real problem is when I fail a level, an annoying "get more birds" message that I cannot disable. It may be trying to help, sure, but I am very used to just restarting. Please consider making an option to disable this, as well as a confirmation message to use the Shockwave bird.

Fun game after not playing it for a while. Still fun to play but as for me, I like to play simple and old fashioned. It gets very tiring when ads come up for angry birds 2 and other stuff. Plus there is no way we can pay for an ad free version? It would be nice just if after playing a level and even if we run out of birds, to not keep throwing stuff to watch a video for more stuff. It gets tiring, but overall, I do like to play it from time to time. An ad free version would be a great idea.

Keeps crashing on splash screen, can't even get to game menu. I had this game on my old phone, and it worked fine, but I recently got a new phone, and now I can't even load past the splash screen without it crashing. I don't feel comfortable buying apps on my phone, but the paid version is the only other version of "Classic" that shows up in app store. I never finished the classic version of the game before, and I want to finish that before I get any of the spin-offs, but can't with this bug.

As of Jan 20th 2022 my game will NOT open. So I tried a new install, it installed and same thing happened. Support.rovio suggests clearing cache and reinstalling... I did that and even went thru all my apps and cleared cache... I am done !! it is installed but will not open...it wants to but just shuts down while loading... what are they doing !!!??? I AM DONE FOR GOOD ! Love the A B CLASSIC - is the best. To replay whole game, all levels over & over again TIP: go to settings, select the app and clear/delete the data/cache, and you have new empty levels to start again. AB2 locks up with too many ads/costs to complete levels - classic is the best!
