Almost perfect replacement for Teamviewer (which treats it's users like criminals). But I'm unable to use this due to multi monitor support being buggy. It seems like it expects all monitors to be the same resolution/aspect ratio, which mine are not. This results in visual glitches and the cursor being and appearing in two locations. I'll try this again in a few months, it seems slick otherwise.

Good replacement for TeamViewer. Since TeamViewer no longer allows free personal use, I switched to AnyDesk. Setup was very easy and it has performed flawlessly. The user interface is a bit clunky compared to TeamViewer, but didn't take long to get used to it. Plus, it does allow remote control from my phone to my tablet without any extra software. It just works. Very pleased so far.

I really didn't expect this to work - it was more just "a test." I was attempting to use my ancient Nexus 7 as a larger "view screen" and being connected to a Google Pixel 4a 5G as the source while viewing an orchestral performance. And it worked! Yes, it wasn't seamlessly smooth - there was a very slight, video pause at regular intervals... But the sound was perfect! As I said, this is a very old tablet. Just doing app updates takes around an hour. So this result is really exceptional.

Works good, better than remote desktop but after update turned background data back on and used all my data in no time at all even though I actually used it for 2 minutes then closed it. Even after disabling background data again it kept using it. Can't risk having it on my phone since it uses gigs in a few minutes.

As with another review, years ago, TeamViewer gave false accusations of commercial use. I used Chrome Remote Desktop, but it required me to hold onto that browser, so I found out and tried AnyDesk! It has some odd quirks like the phone's mouse cursor going out of alignment with the real cursor after changing DPI on the computer, but other than that, it works reliably to let me do things on my laptop remotely. Good job, AnyDesk, you've gotten another user! I recommend this app over TeamViewer. 👍

While the software ecosystem as a whole works quite well, the touchpad style mouse interface is extremely unintuitive. There is too much mouse movement sensitivity, the mouse movement correction makes the cursor not land on the intended spot when little motion is made, the method for performing a right-click action is wrong and unintuitive. One should NEVER have to do a long-click just to make a right-click; a two-finger click is much preferred. TeamViewer's got mouse touch right, why can't AD?
