Easy on storage with its small size and does everything i need. Sure wish it came with ads - NOT! Running on LG Gpad 8.3 and Galaxy S7 with no issues. Thanks, Ryan, for a great little music player. If you have time for an update, it would be cool to be able to go back a track or two when it's shuffling. Even without that ability, its my favorite music player due its size, ease of use, functionality, sound and lack of ads.

This is the ONLY music player that worked flawlessly in my 512 MB ultra cheap phone. Installed it, the player found the music folder automatically. I was able to make playlists without a problem and run them in random order: Just what I needed. Best of all, it won't crash after a while like all other fancy players. I can't recommend this music player enough for anyone who, like me, has to use a VERY low specs phone.

I love this app for its simplicity and allowing me to listen to my own music without adds popping up or bothering me with useless notifications. It will not play m4a files, which is unfortunate, but overall it's still a good app and probably my favorite app for playing downloaded music files on Android.

I love everything about this app, with one tiny exception: The notification and lockscreen controls are persistent. Even after I stop playing, swipe away the notification bar, and kill the app, the notification keeps coming back until I either start playing something else or restart my phone. Not a big deal, but still annoying, and the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review.

This is an app that does not show you ads. That's great! But there's a problem. Whenever I plug in my earphones on my commute and keep the phone inside my pocket, the song stops playing after about 40 seconds. I wish I could say it's my phone's own problem, but it doesn't happen with other music apps I've used. This app is better than those flashy apps, but when it comes to this one thing, this app really let me down.

Great app, but it needs improvement. Every time I want to use the widget feature, after an unexplained amount of time the widget stops working. Also the context menus are kinda weird on Android 7. I know it is not easy to port an app made for Gingerbread or even older, but I haven't seen an update for a long time.

Update mid 2020: I used to love this music app. But on certain Android devices, the Sound effects button disappeared for no reason whatsoever along with other random buttons in the "..." button. Why must you remove the fourth button labeled "..." after the square? I have had to go with Musicolet which unfortunately does have in-app purchases but thankfully all it has is stuff that's not required just to use the app. Just useless stuff I don't need is an IAP on Musicolet.

WARNING: Only get this app if you like pauses in your music. Loved this app played great until just recently when with my new phone my music will be playing and then my phone screen goes blank and a minute later my music stops and I have to open my phone, open the app, go to my playlist and hit the song again to get it to continue where I left off. 😞

Music stops every 67 seconds by itself. Very wierd glitch, but its not one or two songs on this player, its every song. Its unfortunate since its a knock off of the Default Player by removing the ads but not resizing the UI to fit.
