I love it. but now, when i open it, and i try to record, i can't press stop, the pause button is grayed out and when i open it again, it completely crashes! And now I'm trying to look for a new camera and all of the ones i find either require th is one or don't work. LIKE SERIOUSLY

With anti-shake enabled, most photo results are clean and crisp. Great quality for cropping. Dissatisfied with daytime skyline pics. IE: The sky is full of purple- red clouds that cause the daylight to appear redish, the resulting photo is of flat, pinkish-orange, clouds. The eye & screen show visible variations in the clouds (density, depth & distance). The photo result is a flat, boring mess. A child's finger painting has more depth. Doesn't give many options in the video settings.

Overall I'm satisfied. However, when I want to record video in 4k, sometimes the apps a bit lagging, so I have to wait a few second before start recording. I'm using zenfone 6. Also, it would be awesome if the developer could add an exposure lock feature for video recording. Please do! It's very useful for anyone who loves to create videos on Asus mobile phone.

The clarity was gone after updates.previously it was so good but now all noise in images. Update : 03.05.2020 Now with the new problem, my camera wasn't focusing on the image,only centre part of the image iam getting clear and the remaining part of the image gets blur and high in noise. Tried all settings with expert suggestions but it won't work.

After most recent update (firmware/system) the camera on my phone stopped working. I factory reset twice. First time, it didn't work. 2nd, the camera did work but sometime after I restored the backup from my gdrive it started crashing and giving a persistent black screen once more. I'm convinced it's a software issue since I had no other issues prior to the update and the hardware did perform momentarily after the 2nd factory reset. Fix por favor.

After upgrading to Android V. 10, camera has stopped working. Earlier I never had any issues with front camera or the flip action. It was quite smooth. After the update, there's been some problem with the front camera. Once it is flipped for Selfie more, the camera hangs, app goes black, and doesn't respond to touches. The other apps also cannot use the camera. Once restarted, as long as you're in the rear mode it works. As and when you flip for Selfie mode, it stops again.

TLDR: It seems the app is too reliant on using laser focus, and forgot to let phase focus take over when laser focus doesn't work on distant objects. So touch screen doesn't work. Long Version: I used to love this app on my Asus 3 Zoom, since it allows me to fully manually control my ISO, Shutter Speed . But now this app is bugged. When I opened the app and tried to use touch screen to focus, often times the touch screen no longer works, or only work for a split second and then no longer works. As a result I can only take photos with the physical volume button, meaning most pictures would be out of focus/focused on the wrong thing. Common fixes like clearing the cache and data doesn't help at all. I did some testing and I am pretty certain that this is related to the laser auto focus no being able to pick up a return signal. I know this because if I put my hand right in front of the laser focus sensor, the touch screen will work and I can focus on my hand. But right when I remove my hand and the laser focus had to look at distant things, the touch screen immediately stops working. I would gladly give a 5 star rating after fix.

Like a lot of people recently, my camera has suddenly stopped working. Occasionally it will work for maybe one picture, and then the camera app goes back to spontaneously closing every time I try to use it. None of the other apps that use the camera work either, such as an app I use to identify species when working in the field. If there isn't a solution soon, I'll be needing a new phone.

When I needed it the most to record a unique wildlife moment, it reported an error to save the video. Quickly restarted the device and tried again, getting another error saying the camera was being used by another app, after I started recording. Then it was too late. Moment was gone. Forever. Once again I'm reminded of my terrible choice picking Android.

I've have increasing issue with the camera app lately. It started with errors that would back me out to home screen and then start going straight to a black screen and nothing else. Clearing data used to fix the issue for a day but now that doesn't even work and the camera is completely useless.
