This has always been a great app. The negative reviews are all people that don't understand the limitations of not having enough ram. Stick to working with few layers as you can and merge layers whenever possible and save often!! My desktop setup has 32gigs of ram for a reason and I still keep an eye on my ram usage when working with lots of layers and a high resolution canvas. This app is great just remember it's called "sketchbook" for a reason. You will always be limited to your ram!

This app is perfect for me (a new- ish artist). The tools and brushes work for everything that I draw, and the end result is perfection. But lately I've noticed that it cancels my line half way through it. But still Gove it 5/5 and would definitely recommend Ed it to new and professional artists!

I've been using this app since the early days(I thought there was actually a version that came out in 2011 but I must be thinking of something else). I LOVE this app! Lately I've been using it near daily to draw for my sticker buisness (My Stickery). There's only one improvement I'd consider asking for, and that's backing things up to the cloud and having an account- just in case my phone breaks. I'd pay $1 or $2/mo for such a service to avoid losing any WIPs.

This app is absolutely FANTASTIC. I found the learning curve a lot easier than other competing programs, and also really enjoy how smooth the graphics and layout are while having zero ads to worry about. The only thing I wish this app would add is some method of layer masking. That mechanic would save SO much time and heartache! Other than that, this is by far the best drawing app I've ever seen.

I love this app! One thing I've found, though, is that 3/4 of the time, when I draw, zoomed in, the lines will glitch and not appear. I zoom out and I see that half of my picture has disappeared. Then I need to wait for it to load back in before closing out of the app and reentering for it to work again for a few minutes and then glitch out again. Please fix this, as it makes my experience horrible. I'm rating it four stars because despite that, this is still an amazing app. Would recommend.

Love this app so much! My only issue is that sometimes when I save the art and try to reopen that piece of art, it will simply say my art could not be found and it gives me a blank piece of paper. This happens all the time with really old pieces and sometimes when I click on another piece of art, save and then reopen the app, even that won't work, meaning I've lost a piece of art all because of a bug. Other than that, amazing app, so easy to use.

It's just great! It has layers, many pencils and brushes ect.. The app has no in game things u have to buy and there is no adds. The only thing I do not like is that the app when I close my computer the game will freeze and I have to restart my whole computer, it does not happen that often only every 1/8 times.

It's great over all but updates either cause the app to completely shut down with no warning as well as there is zero notification besides if you dig into the app description. But what's worse is if you follow the recommendations to fix the problem the app becomes usable but any art you had made previously deleted, or at the very least becomes inaccessible.👎

Love this app and what it has done for my art journey. However, this update has added large undo/redo buttons to the top of the screen with no way to get rid of them. Considering the layout has not changed for years, this is a biiit of a hinderance as I keep pressing the wrong buttons such as pressing the color wheel when I meant to press the layers. I wish there was a way to change the top bar, but good app otherwise.

There's this issue that won't let me open my sketches. It'll say "Oops. Failed to open image", and load a blank canvas. I can make new sketches just fine and load them, but then after I close them I can't load them anymore. The apps updated and everything, so idk what to do. :•/ EDIT: I don't use this app anymore. Every time I would make a new piece of art and close out of it I would never be able to open it again. I couldn't access any of my old art or make new art so I deleted it.
