I would give this game 5 stars, but the only issue I have, is that if you only get 1 or 2 stars on a level, the game will not allow you to go back and replay the level to try to get all 3 stars. Otherwise, great graphics and plenty of ways to use ads to get free coins, boosters, power ups, bombs, joining or creating your own team and such. Also this game is a great way to pass time while waiting on my energy to regenerate on Best Fiends.

I rather like the game, better than the original, because of the option to watch an ad to get extras. But, it's pretty stinkin chinsy when I patiently watch the ad, but no extra 'ingredient' is given, or, after watching an ad all the way through and get a screen that says 'oops, no ad could be loaded, please try again' making me watch a second ad all the way through, to get the promised reward. Do better.

I've been playing this game since it was brand new. I'm almost to the point now of uninstalling it. There are so many bugs lately. I can't even play today, it keeps crashing, won't even load. We used to get 20 new levels every week, now it's 5. Several weeks lately there hasn't even been a free chest on the days the new levels drop. It's like the developers have just given up.

Installed about 10 days ago and really like it so far. I have been looking for a game to replace Solitaire Grand Harvest. (RE:SGH...Once you get to Masters League you lose-lose-lose until you buy coins and so on. Sadly they got especially greedy!!) RE: Best Fiends...I think it will be similiar to Toon Blast, which i love and played for years, it has stayed consistent from day one with coin packages etc. In "fiends", the critters are adorable and good graphics. AND perfect amount of ad choices!

I love this one better than the original Best Fiends! The levels are sometimes very challenging but not impossible to complete without using boosters. This game gives you rewards and those alone are all that you need to get through levels I have barely spent any real money on game but on occasion i will but its not really necessary. The ability to join a team and participate in team chests really is a good thing. Watch an ad here and there to get additional bombs is fine with me.

They took everything that made the original unique out and the changes make it a copy of the other match chain games. They removed a lot of the strategy features, making it more linear and one way to play only. It's still a solid game but got boring quickly without the ability to choose who to upgrade and pick who you want on your team. Also you cannot replay old levels to earn more stars. Bad for completionists, collectors and those with ocd. It also costs money to spin in this one.

What really ruins the experience of Stars for me is that you can't swap out certain fiends that are given to you in the recommended party. I loved that feature in the classic Best Fiends. Some of the parties that are chosen give you a big disadvantage and it's insanely frustrating when you have to clear 100 green leaves, but I'm given Temper instead of Gene, and I can't change it.

Fun gameplay. I like being able to play on a team. Very happy that the graphics were improved with the last update. I didn't like their "fuzziness". Now they are crisp and clear. The fiends are cute creatures! February 12, 2022: I stopped playing some time ago because I was overwhelmed with trying to keep up with this game and the original Best Fiends.

I like this game a lot. Lots of ways to win free coins. The only thing I don't care for is star league. Too boring. Same puzzles over and over and lasts too long. Adding to this review in 2021. I stopped playing for a while and came back a few months ago. The amount of ad videos is unreal. And these new events making items are ridiculous. I spent over 4 weeks needing 1 item to finish a tier of drinks. And I play a lot. Very frustrating to say the least.

I absolutely love Best Fiends. It's one of only two games that have been installed on my phone and never removed. I was super excited for this one but I'm disappointed. The highlights for the original were that even if you failed, you kept what you earned and could power up and try again. Also, you could pick different Fiends to change your strategy. This game, while having amazing graphics, takes away all the strategic parts of the original. Also disappointing is all of the micro transactions.
