Dog Walk - Track your dogs!

Potentially a good app but currently not fit for purpose. I have recorded 7 walks to date, of which 4 have only recorded a portion. When I look at the route for those that have recorded in full, it appears the dog has swum a substantial part of the walk although she never goes in water. When I compare with the history on the main activity app, the GPS appears much more accurate. More information on how to use the app would also be useful. I have taken several photos but these seem to be missing.

Really wanted to give this app 4 stars, and maybe it's me not being able to figure it out. The only way I can end a walk is to go to the notification. If there's another notification that takes priority, or I'm on a phone call, I can't access the Dog Walk notification to end the walk. Clicking on END in the app does nothing. If someone has some advice on how to fix this, I'll happily revise my review. Bc everything else is great!!

I'm a professional dog walker so I've tried ALL the apps and this one is hands down the best!!! It's incredibly accurate as far as time and e distance! It has all the cool features to track potty breaks and take photos. You can even share your walks in real time and save all the info to look back on later. I use it for exercise purposes, I use it for safety purposes and I use it so my human clients can share in the walks I take with their pups! I can't recommend it highly enough!

Works well and does what I was hoping for. For a while it was having issues with switching from KM to Miles but I think they fixed that. It's pretty neat to look at my past walks and see a bunch of little photos of the different paths we've taken. I'm in a big neighborhood and there's many streets we haven't traversed, so I use the app to help keep our walks interesting.

This app would be great if it tracked the walk while the phone screen is off or locked. it does not. Developer, if you wont fix the tracking at least add the ability to create, edit, or adjust the walk path after "Ending" a walk. This app is really useless until one of those 3 things is added. What good is it to use the app for a walk only to find out it only tracked the first 30 seconds of the path and the only info from your walk is a timer? My device has a timer built in, dont need that...

It was okay. Easy to use for the most part, but it didn't track the distance. As soon as my phone was off, it stopped tracking and would just make a straight line to wherever I was. A 2 mile walk turned in to half a mile. I had both gps and data on to make sure it could track and it didn't work. It did track the time well but that was it. I think i'll go back to using a speedometer and just tracking our walks that way

It's a good app would give it a 5 if you're able to edit the pee and poop drops from mistakenly pressing them and also if you can edit the end time for instance if you start a dog walk and forget to stop it go back into the app and edit the end time to accurately reflect the actual walk. And if you can add pictures from your camera roll that would be an awesome instead of having to take live pictures. Would also be great if the notes that are written can also be shared through the shareable link.

I would have rated this five stars just a couple of months ago. However, now every time I try to send the link to a pet owner the app crashes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times, I have updated everything on my phone as well as tried logging into my account on another device and it happens every time. Unfortunately, there is no need to track walks if you can't send the details to the pet owner rendering this app completely useless.

Used to be great. I've noticed that recently the app tracks walks differently and it's no longer accurate. It tracks the shortest distance between points (at an angle) so that your walks appear to be much shorter than they actually are. This is not good for walking a client's dog because they will think they're not getting their money's worth. I'm on the verge of deleting this app.

The GPS tracking feature does not work. I use RunKeeper and several other fitness apps on the same phone and they have no problems. The app/company is not CASL compliant and despite opting out of spam I have received two spam messages in less than 24 hours. The sharing feature is broken in that it renders an empty page with a hamburger icon. Tapping/clicking the icon reveals the list of walks. The dogs name is missing so instead of saying "Maggie's walk" it says "'s walk". The date is blank, the distance is zero and the duration is zero. There is no way to edit a previous walk.
