In general I like the app, but here are the exceptions that I find incredibly annoying: 1. they ask you to sync the account, but when you do try to sync with google it breaks the app. Tired of the app freezing and most of the modules stop displaying. 2. I do not like the increased amount of freezing while playing (vs earlier version)! I have fiber with throughput for heavy muliplayer gaming (NO problems with anything else) so it isn't connection issues!

Audio quality is good - all vocab seems to be spoken by humans rather than generated. Unfortunately, the images they use, central to the app's design, sometimes do a poor job of conveying the meanings clearly. For example, I shouldn't have to use the height of the sun on the horizon to judge whether it's a sunrise or sunset, when a simple arrow could mark the direction.

A lot of great things about this app. Easy and addictive and fun. Cons: lesson chunks run long and the English meaning is not repeated nearly enough. I can match pictures and sounds and get answers correct even though I've forgotten what the words actually mean. Icons address useful for concrete objects but less so for more abstract phrases

You get 5 minutes every 10 hours. After a promising 5 minutes of word matching, the session was over and I was greeted with an endless stack of ads and gamification things. I actually had to kill the app to progress! That's when I found that those first minutes of "look at this fruit" was all you get in the free version per 10 hours unless you sign up for a $55 annual subscription. That's the price of an entire DVD course, and 5 minutes isn't enough to determine the app is worth any price.

Very user friendly interface. Easy to understand the way the app works. Pay or free options. I tried Spanish (Castilian). I like timer countdown in the corner, easy to ignore or check in on. I like the pleasant woman's voice. Hood tutorial. The only change I'd make is that I don't like the vibration feedback when a correct choice is made. I know plenty of people who like this option so perhaps a chance to turn off the vibration as the new user is setting up their preferences at the tutorial.

This is the best flashcard app on the market in my opinion. Many options of learning for free. And the price of the premium subscription is not over priced. It is actually a great deal. There is honestly only 1 thing that could make this app better. I would love to see colors in the flashcard pictures. I feel that this would greatly improve the effectiveness of the app. Because the photos are difficult to distinguish sometimes. When color is added this app will be a 5/5 every time.

I'm using Drops to learn Bosnian, and I decided to move from the free version (you only get 5 minutes a session) to the paid b/c it has good pronunciation. A good little app for vocab and simple phrases. And it shows a list of all the words (picture and words in both languages) of all the words one's learned which is helpful for quickly reviewing. I'd normally say a 4 star app but only giving 3 stars as I agree with the previous reviewer that "Latest update (this is Apr 2022) has added annoying audio feedback in several places and no way to disable." Drops, please remove this; it is unnecessary and it totally throws off the cadence and flow of the word learning repetition.

This app is great for language learning, but I hate the new sounds update and the "encouragement" in the session...very distracting! I wish you could turn them off, it really kills the great app experience it was before. I don't need to know I got X in a row every few seconds, it just kills the learning zone I am in. And the sound it makes now when you select the right answer sounds too much like a "wrong" tone. The developers should change it back to the more positive sound they had before.

It's overall a very useful app for beginners. I've been trying to learn Korean off and on for years now but because of a mix of much I've not really learned much. Drops has been useful for me to familiarize myself with the alphabet especially and start to learn some words vuagly. That being said, nuance in definitions is very much lost in this format. Plus, it doesn't supplumrnt learning how to write the words. Also, the five minute sessions are longer than five minutes... Which is misleading

I learn languages better when there's a visual aspect to it so I find this app really cool. It's a nice way to turn simple vocabulary words into full sentences. I do wish that I had more than 5 minutes to practice in one sitting. Even 10 minutes would be enough, but overall the app is very nice. Love the little animations and mini games!
