I'm only playing this game because it initially was fun but I've become somewhat financially vested in it. As you'll find out, the algorithm used to sequence the tiles is not random. It has hot and cold streaks and I've already documented a pattern over the last year that shows it. From all of the other comments, it's the same so I will give it that it's not fair for everyone. For anyone interested, just know it's a bait and switch game.

Honestly, I love the game... However over the years, they've made it a 'pay-to-play' game more than anything. Additionally, the odds are not properly calculated, and are random at best for progression. Best hero (Legendary) draws are almost non-existant in certain events, and drawing odds do not match up with actual statistics. In the pay-to-play aspect, as popularas it's rated, there are seldom to little benefits in spending $ via Play Store packages; maybe once every 4-6 months at best 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've played for a few years & have become very frustrated by the addition of icons to the already overloaded screen. For years, there have been a single column of icons on either side of the screen, of things to purchase and things to do. Now, they have added A SECOND column, which actually INTERFERES with game play. Beyond frustrating. (Added 6/7/2022) The developer replied today; not only was my concern not addressed, it appears they didn't even read it.

Eh, I dislike the super low energy reserve vs waiting game building. DEFINITELY a pay to win cash grab. Even with the addition of a tutorial a lay of the land in-game--there's no direct, in-game "info" to be found. Which leads to high level members in Alliances STILL unaware of what's going on in the game. Could be much better. Could be much better. Could also be much worse.

I played this game for quite a long time and I am finally quitting it out of sheer frustration. The drop rates of the special heroes makes it almost impossible to build up and expand your roster. You just end up getting duplicates of the regular base heros and soon you have nowhere to apply your resources that you build in the game. Not only that but the game has an algorithm in it that prevents a player from winning battles if they have multiple heros of one color. It is statistically impossib

The game can be fun but I really dislike when you're in battle and the tiles purposely dont come out enough to increase your mana, giving the enemy faster mana to attack you and kill you off before you even launch one attack. Also, how the tiles burst out in to 10 to 12 combos when there's nothing on the board. That burst should freeze until the next level come on and then continue the tiles attacking the enemy. That change can be made and more effective in the game.

Bottom line..if you don't plan on spending money you will NEVER become a top tier player but you may still enjoy the game. Yes the devs have continually changed the algorithms and rigged the characters to keep the big spenders happy, but there is some good artwork and new twists and turns along the way, but this is NOT and NEVER WILL BE a game that is designed for free or even cheap to play people.

This game sucks again, so tired of being out matched in raids and the matches are taking forever just to lose, most of the time. There are so many new heroes that have rendered older ones obsolete and hardly any chance of getting one of the newer heroes, I guess you can pay and get them, not really sure about that. I am writing this in frustration.

Been playing for 3 years. Fairly well balanced. Hero power balance can be a little off, sometimes. Has some variation, and different things to focus on. It does have obtainable build goals. Good people to meet in Alliance play and several team goals to choose from. AI and random generation can be very frustrating at times. $$ may not be required, but, if you really want to get anywhere in a reasonable time frame you will end up spending some. Overall, not a bad game choice. I do still play.

I enjoy this game, it's a fun thing to play in my downtime. There's a little too much in-your-face purchase options, but if you can dodge around them, you can enjoy a gradual base build and matching combat game with access to interesting events and alliances with fun people. I don't mind that others are pay-to-win to top leaderboards, because I'm having fun at my own pace and don't feel too pressured to get super competitive. Support bites; downgraded to 2 stars; I get blamed for their issues.
