I have been playing this game since it released and I love it. I try other games and I always come back to this one. I love the anime aesthetic. The story is actually really good. Obviously it is a gotcha game, but I have always felt that the drop rates are fair and the events come out enough to keep you stocked on some of the important items used for upgrading and exp. At least a must try. 10/10

I have never seen any game with as good of a animatio as this one when you use their super attack it's like you are watching a anime on tv same with cut scenes but recently with update I do like two things and then it does the loading thing like you have bad connection but I don't. ( edit ) I took away a star because it keeps crashing when I do a specialty change for my one character did it 3 times in a row so far. I still love this game but hard to play when it keeps crashing

Edit: keeps crashing especially during arena. Regardless of the bad experience I've had in the past, I do love this game. I've played it since launch, was fortunate enough to enjoy their booth at 2019* NYCC, before Covid, and have fond memories, goodies and pics of that time. Their summoning rates have improved, tho not by a significant amount (still have to spend like a whale). The events and occassional crossovers keep the game fresh, and the artwork and animations get better every year.

With all of the improvements they say they've made, PvP still remains awful. No matter what I pump into my characters to speed them up, buff them up, etc., they almost always have to wait out the other team before they get to act, *if* they even survive. Then, if you manage to go a few rounds, it punishes you by damaging your team, which is just completely stupid. Fix the system so characters on each team swap turns for at least that first turn and remove the punishment - it's really that simple. Draw rates are OK, except unlike other systems that guarantee at least one 4* item/character for doing a 10-pull, this one doesn't - you can and will get 10-draws of nothing but 3* items and characters. This can be frustrating, especially with the Mystic Medal summons that take time to pile up the required resource. The art is beautiful and there are interesting characters, story events are pretty fun, too.

This really hurts to write as a long time player, as the game tends to be generous with rewards and has a pretty good story and some of the best animations in the gatcha business. But damn, this also recently has the absolute worst power creep in a good chunk of the newer characters and, because of that, the worst pvp meta of any game I've played in quite a long time. Add on the insane gear grind and unless you just want to play for the PvE, I unfortunately can't reccomend it.

Great game don't get me wrong, animation,rates, and story are awesome. But I have to give it a 2 star review because of the account binding. I understand the reason why smilegate binds account permanently but for a game that aims to last for years un-linking accounts should be a thing. I contacted customer service but the process requires info that I don't have (like date account was created..etc.). Just feels bad because I started way back in the day and linked with emails I don't use anymore.

Loser take the bait

It's a good game with unique characters and ok pity rates. The price for microtransactions are ridiculously high and you get little for it. But they do give out enough free currency that getting new units is painless. However, the end game experience is currently abysmal. I have been playing for years and this is the worst it has ever been. I had to lower my rating to 2* because of it. Pvp is beyond broken right now. If you don't own all 10 or so of the meta units, then you can't even compete.
