I've been using F-Stop for a number of years at this point - it's a great app. It was more difficult than I expected to find an app that reads JPG metadata (tags, ratings, comments, etc., for interoperability with Windows) - F-Stop does this well, which led me to it. It has a clean, snappy interface with lots of customization. The map view to show locations of geotagged photos is a neat and unique way of viewing your photos, and it works well. Keep up the great work!

Excellent gallery. Once you pay for the full version, I don't think there is another gallery with as many features as this one. However, the two features I like the most are, the ability to move pics, not only from one folder to another, but from just within any one folder. Has anyone ever wanted to place related pics right next to each other rather than have them placed anywhere at random? The other one is to have my deleted pics in a temporary bin, in case I want to retrieve any of them back.

The most versatile camera app available for Android. Nested folders, tagging, searchable photos, the ability to protect(encrypt) photos. Been using this app(pro) for a while now, it's never missed a beat and always done what I needed it to. The few times I've encounter bugs or issues they've been fixed almost immediately. Hats off to this app and it's developers.

This app can create meta tags that can be read in windows! This is precisely what I have been searching for. Not only does it create tags, it does so in an efficient way. For me, the gallery aspect is just icing on the cake. I tried using FastPhotoTagger for android, but the UI was slow. Been backing up my photos into dated folders including about 6 months of pictures, and make them searchable by tags. F-stop is a new must have for me. More gallery customization is always welcomed. Thank you!

It went from no ads to constant ads. I can't say it's unusable, but I'll definitely be looking for something else now. It's a shame because I really liked this a lot. Edit: Okay, the banner ads are much more friendly. I'll probably buy the pro version to remove them but the full screen ads were annoying enough that I was going to uninstall all together. Glad they take feedback.

This app was so close to perfect. So many great features. But I have all my photos tagged (in the metadata) and during the initial import, all of the tags came through just fine. But then when I added photos later, it didn't add the tags, even though it is in the metadata of the file. I tried every combination of refreshing data and nothing worked. I tried "revert to metadata on disk" and it never did anything. Please help!

Does not work well on Android 11. - It works great on Android 10 or below. The latest version of F-Stop is not fully compatible with Android 11. It seems to be an issue reading the internal storage. Android 11 brought terrible unwanted changes, so this issue is not surprising. I have enjoyed this app for years before Android 11 came along. Hopefully this review will be helpful for improvements as soon as possible. Thank you.

Great gallery app, been using this app for years, I've also purchased the pro. My only concern and problem is when I transfer/copy all gallery to a new phone, as a result, images sorting get messed up! Even if I rearrange by date, same issue. Old and new images/videos are everywhere and not organized. I really hope to find a way to fix this issue.

When I swipe through the media viewer, I anticipate to see files that are in the same folder and that still exist on my storage. Instead, I've found cached files mixed in and it's very annoying. They are useless to me, and make it hard to differentiate between what exists and what doesn't. The viewer also doesn't appear to have any organization such as alphabetization, and so what you get is a clustered mess.

Downgrading from 3 stars to 2. App does not update to show new albums/folders EVEN WHEN YOU USE F-STOP TO CREATE THE NEW FOLDER. Tapping "Refresh" doesn't help. Sometimes it takes closing and reopening the app several times. It's maddening to take 30 pictures of an event, create an album for those pics, and then have the very app that created the album not show it as a selectable destination. SEELEYE: I did install another gallery app, and IT works. Your snarky note now gets F-stop 1 star.
