Ulasan untuk Firefox Lockwise
When it works, it works great. Allows you to search for passwords on the fly in any app which is super nice. Definitely does not work anymore and has not for the past two months. Refuses to sync. Just stick to the firefox app and if you have to, copy paste. At least that stays synced. Until devs address this issue, don't even bother. Literally could not fail harder at what it set out to do.
I really wanted to love this...I downloaded it less than an hour ago and will be removing it from my phone. The reason? You can't edit the titles. Yes, this ONE thing is a HUGE deal because I don't want to see URLs as titles, I just want to see names. I also noticed that every time I tap something it starts syncing. Mozilla, I have loved everything you've done...except this. There is also no where to import data from other password managers. Pros: The app is visually appealing, integrates easily to the android settings and in my brief trial, it didn't conflict with my old/current password manager.
We need this to work better. Trying to search the list is a futile effort, as the app just sends you back to the full list before you can type in the box. Sometimes even tapping on a login will automatically back out to the full list before you can do anything. Sometimes you can work around these things by pressing the back button on your device. We're giving you feedback because we want this app to improve.
it is not usable. if you put your focus on a form, the pop-up appears. ok that's one, but it won't stop suggesting to get the account info. you can't see any of the rest of the page because the pop-up is blocking everything. this even happens in the application's feedback form. you hit the selections and the second you go to their text input form, it switches to the password list and then you can't tell them it is broken. i wish this worked. i want the connection with Firefox. this does not
I prefer the My Passwords app. It doesn't sync anything but I use it to create new, encrypted passwords and if I need to enter one on my pc then I can just look it up and then Firefox can have it too. I want to like Lockbox but it is very limited in it's ability. Synchronizing... that is about all it does. Looking forward to seeing it improve and possibly becoming my sole password app but until then, I am going to stick with what I already have. Also, it needs a dark mode, like all apps do.
Like the idea, but it fails as a password manager. The biggest issue is that it's useless for passwords for anything other than websites. This wouldn't be such a big issue, but it lacks the ability to add or edit passwords other than through a browser. Second, why have a Firefox add-on, which already has access to passwords, but not Chrome? Lastly, search is useless. Just closes keyboard and clears input after a few characters.
It's a bit janky about firing on a password box. Sometimes the prompt appears, sometimes not. Sometimes it appears once, but not again. Sometimes you can't get it to go away at all and it blocks page elements. Sometimes clicking the prompt does nothing. Google autofill is more seamless by far. But Firefox is better with privacy, so I'll stick with it.
Is it good? Perhaps, but there's a lot of room for improvement. As a password manager, it can be a lot better. It is set as my registered autofill service, yet most of the time it doesn't pickup when I visit a website. Even though, I already have been to that website and have the passwords saved. Same goes with Apps, it's ridiculously slow, inaccurate and not configured correctly to work appropriately. Yes, it's free but could be a lot better. I would pay for a good service!
It's great that this works as a replacement for the default Google autofill feature, but it could definitely benefit from some QoL adjustments. For example, after selecting an account password from the list, then navigating back to the list view, the view is reset back to the top of the list. It'd make for a far less tedious UX if the top most visible item's index was saved and restored when navigating between the item selected and list views.
You can only use your device PIN or a fingerprint as the password, which isn't great security for an app that contains all of your passwords. To make matters worse, fingerprint unlock works even when it is explicitly toggled off in the settings. You also can't add or edit much from the app - you pretty much need to make changes in Firefox. I trust Mozilla, but this app needs more work.
