This is worth the $10, no doubt about it! Super easy to use while offering several tweakable settings to adjust to get just what ya want. I definitely recommend this for anybody who is interested in making their videos come to life even more. Love it, love it, LOVE IT!!! Brilliant minds behind this app, ten bucks seems cheap. Would've easily paid double. Just sayin.

Great app. Started making videos immediately . Got my head out of the doldrums. The special effects are awesome. The one with the girl from the Exorcist was definitely creepy. I purchased the pkg with the 80 or so effects and you can't beat the price point versus how long my head has been in the clouds. Just what I needed to counter the effects of what we have all been going through. Definitely a heads up on this one guys.

FxGuru: I have been using this app for years now it's one of the easier video effect apps I've used. It's fun to record goofy films with the kids. but there's one thing you have to be ready to act and play the part if you want it to turn out. so get ready to have some fun this one can be used for fun with the family or you can even do small films and have action features in there it's cool but that's one man's point of view I bet other feel the same. Try it, guarantee you'll like it.

Fun app and can create some easy to use videos fx. It does crash on occasion on Android 11 or won't show the area that is to be shot in video. Using the back button and restarting takes care of that problem. It would be nice to have the ability to mix the levels of background sounds since the app adds music and sound to the effects, but any background sounds can be added in a video editor. A really nice program that's easy to use and enjoyable with a few bugs.

Although the effects are high quality, almost all of them are only available to purchase. Additionally, I had to edit the "finished" videos with another program to allow them to be shared. I can't justify purchasing anything without first knowing for sure the finished videos can be shared easily.

I love this app but I also have issues. the effects are great. I've purchased everyone available. the problem is that if you choose to have them record in high resolution. it just doesn't work and reaching out to the developers hasn't garnered any response whatsoever. app makers need to know support is very important. that's the only reason this did not get five stars from me.

This app would be killer except there are 2 serious flaws. First, except for like 3 of the effects you can only use live video that you have to shoot at that time. You can not use existing shots of any kind. I made a 3d animation in Blender that I was going to add the "UFO" effect to and send it to my son just for fun but noooo you can't do that. Very LAME. The other problem is you can't buy the full app outright. You can buy 1 at a time or a package of several effects but not all at once.

Horrible experience so far. I have purchased the super 82 pack almost a year ago on a different device. It worked fine untill one day my phone was stolen. When I reinstalled the app on new device and tried to restore my purchase, it failed. On contacting the customer support, only a very basic type of troubleshooting was provided which included uninstalling/reinstalling the app. Now despite sending several e-mails to the customer support, there's no reply. My purchase went down the drain.

You can't apply the effects to existing videos, you have to record your video in the app for it to work. There's no good reason for it to be like this. If you cover the camera it has no problem applying the effect to total darkness, so it could just as easily apply it on top of an existing clip. The effects are too cheesy to be worth this much trouble.
