Ulasan untuk Guitar Tuner: Ukulele & Bass
I've used this tuner app a few years now but I've just uninstalled it Mar 2021. It was looking for a subscription of 39.99 per year and no option to continue with the free guitar tuner version. So bye bye. I can tune from piano, from guitar itself from a top E or go back to using a battery operated tuner. Not worth that amount and no message on app store to even say the free version was being discontinued.
I've been using this for a few years now probably and it's pretty great. It has lots of tuning presets, more than I'd ever need myself but also has a 'free tune' setting where it'll just tell you which note you're closest to when you hit a string. I don't think it gets you bang on the note, but it gets you close enough that you can tweak ever so slightly by ear if necessary. The ads really are not that invasive either, and I'm happy to endure them for the sake of how handy this app is.
Nice app, but trying to train my ear, the tuning fork for tuning my guitar is off pitch from the string tuner. When I tune my Taylor to the Tuning Fork, and then verify with the individual string Tuner, every one strings are sharp and then need to be re-tuned. It's the same issue with my Samsung NOTE III, NOTE 4, S-8, and my Tab-E. So, is this indicative of what this is app is like for ALL Samsung devices? If not, I'll surely add the 5th star.
I have had this app for several years. In the beginning it was really good. Then it changed with updates, became less accurate, and ads became more and more. It flooded me with notifications which I had to block. I am changing my rating. Very sorry to see things going backward.
Was a great app that did everything you needed. It even had ways to improve your experience if you wanted to pay extra. Now it's a subscription service that's like $50 a year. Do they not realize that you can just buy a physical tuner on Amazon for $10? Seriously, what a bad move.
App won't open unless I agree to a 3-day trial of a $70/year premium subscription. Seventy dollars?! Every year?! For a guitar tuner app which I use once a month?! I was happy using the basic pitch detection feature occasionally in exchange for ads. But the new trial can't be declined, so this app is now useless for me. Supposedly you can cancel the trial after agreeing to it, but I have no idea if the app will then function as before, and I refuse to indulge this "dark pattern" UX bs. Bye.
It used to be good. I used it all the time after my chromatic tuner ran out of batteries a year ago. But the recent update (with the new interface) ruined it. I just spend 20 minutes getting my guitar in drop C and it still very off. It does not recognise which string I am hitting, and the new UI is not clear when I am in tune or not. One second my string is to high, the other second way to low. With the old version setting my guitar in drop C took 3 miutes and was pretty accurate (always needed some manual tweaking but that is expected from a phone app). Get the old version back pls!
This app was pretty good before the recent update. Had a fair bit of tunings for the guitar and ukelele where you could tune each string individually either manually or through automatic detection. Updated in the past week and now it forces you to activate a 3 day trial and subscribe to 30 odd quid a year in order to use the app.
This was one of the most wonderful guitar units that I used for years and now you have to sign up for free trial and input a credit card number?! After being a wonderful free app, possibly one of the best in the market it's now something you have to pay to use?! Ad-supported not good enough for you guys anymore? With the sheer volume of guitar tuners on the market, it's like having a Tetris knockoff that you ask somebody to pay for. Horrible move. You have lost a customer.
The app was great ... key word: was I can understand that you guys need to get some cash, but locking every single feature into payment? ... That's beyond unnecessary considering that the main thing about this app was that it was free for over more than 2 years! You guys didn't even say anything about the app moving onto payment only.
