Really great app. I've been using it for several years almost every day. Reliable, smooth, and a clean interface. I like the undo button and I like being able to sync my notes online. It would make me feel more comfortable about the stability of their company if the desktop version of their website would let me login, but at least the mobile version of their website does.

I really loved this app. I have used it for many years now. I love the simplicity of it, all of the options for adding content and the folders instead of labels. I'm very concerned now since I'm getting the 502 Bad Gateway error when I try to access the url. I have all of my notes and lists on my phone but there is no syncing going on. I hope the developer is okay and can get this back working soon but at least my app data didn't get wiped when the sync failed. Please let us know you're okay and when the server(s) will be up again. Love your app!

This is my favorite note-taking app of all time. I'm happily paying for Premium (really affordable, added features are absolutely worth the money, and I like that I'm supporting the developers), and it runs smoothly on all my devices. **Side note -- a bug ** Current version has a bug where sometimes the + icon to add a new note disappears, so I have to restart the app to get it to come back. Not sure what triggers it; I'll update if I figure it out

I would give it 5 stars because this is/was my favorite notepad app from 2013. Unfortunately it seems like nowadays can't log in to the app or online any more.I started to use it for the online sync option. Alas, it doesn't work any more. In case you are still signed in on the app I recommend you to export all your notes and save it to a computer. You can import back them to the app even if you are not signed into any account.This way at least you can read and keep the old notes & make new ones.

Save your GNotes to your computer in several ways! This change of not syncing caught me off guard also. Doesn't seem to be developer's fault. I've been using GNotes since it came out. I don't know how many years ago. I have hundreds of notes of appliances, tools, equipment, electronics, and their serial numbers. Saved my tail when I had a bunch of tools and equipment stolen. Great for parts lookup at the store. Best if we get a local storage option. I have a 200GB SDCard and would like to have no limitations on phone storage with export to PC options. From your Android device you can export from the Settings, Import & Export menu. I used Total Commander to zip up the files and then used a simple USB transfer to save to my PC. You get your notes in html and jpg pictures that you can view in any browser. You can get your gmail, Notes by installing and using Mozilla Thunderbird. I backed all of my online gmail Notes up to a local directory by exporting the Notes folder. The files had the correct name with the extension eml. eml files can open in most email programs. Look up eml and see how you can manipulate. Looks fine. I'm happy while developer adjusts to changes.

I love to use this app for taking notes. The features are cool and enjoyable for me. I suggest this app to have tasks– sending and receiving multiple files once to and from other apps, annotating features–highlighting underlining and others, receiving web page text, photos, audios and videos from browsers. I'd like this app to have synchronizing through devices in free version. If my suggestions are fulfilled, I"ll be very happy to use this app.

I have been paying $9.99 per year for 4 years to get automatic sync, but I somehow lost my most important note (my list of diabetic blood sugar readings for 4 years). The auto sync was not happening, so I have no way to recover it. I tried a manual sync, but it said I can only sync once a day. I uninstalled Gnotes to see if reinstalling it might fix it, and it emailed me saying that uninstalling it would not stop the subscription charges.

Very easy to use but very hard to sync... I have been trying to log into sync my notes, also if you don't log in there is an extreme limitation on the number of tags or notebooks that you can have. The problem is that if you forget your password and you ask for a password reset that reset email never comes so you are screwed. I hope they finally fix this problem but it hasn't happened

I have been using this app for years and it was great. I have been upgraded to the premium version for years as well. My subscription just renewed and now it is not showing that I have the premium version and is not syncing between my devices. I have sent two emails to the support team and have gotten no response. I am incredibly disappointed that I cannot get any help with this and may not be able to get my subscription fee back either. Someone needs to contact me please!!!

What happened?? I have been a paid subscriber since 2017 and have loved this app. Sometime in the last year it stopped syncing. I just got a new phone and now I can't even reset a password on it. It tells me I have to upgrade to a $9.99 a year subscription in order to set a password. I HAVE a paid subscription!! When I go to the Google play store it shows I have a paid subscription but the app doesn't recognize it. The main reason I use this app is because of the password protection. Not happy
