Keeps popping up a box saying Google lite is ready even though I have it turned off, super irritating, also don't like the auto word fixing during search, leaving me to go back and make changes while it leaves actual misspelled words in the search but changes the words that I made sure to be entered exactly as they need to be to find that info. I avoid it unless I need to use the saved log in info. Plus it has a constant feed that can't be stopped, if you touch anywhere it goes there

This is a very good light browser. Very fast, always loads practically instantly even on my 4 year old s7. Very helpful side features; though I dont use them very much personally, I can see that many people would. It gives relevant search suggestions. Some features such as advanced searches are missing, but I have found that I mainly use this for finding a fact or an image quickly. Then, if I need more information, I switch to my normal browser, firefox.

It's annoying. It gives only a few images for related searches and the sensitivity for selection is too much, and when I try to go back it brings me to the top of the search results and I have to find where I was before. This is a pre-installed app I am being forced to use and I can't download the original Google. Also the search bar and the suggestions are weird and the view is unappealing and confusing. I don't like it.

this version is terrible. It doesn't always have a correct list. It closes just when you do find your result and press it. Then it doesn't go back to the same results when you re-search it again. I tried 5 times to search a simple recipe. And now when I want to UN-install it (it wasn't my choice to have it, it was per-loaded that way), and install regular Google, it won't let me. If I could rate it I would rate no stars.

Nothing but trouble using this app I didn't install it and can't uninstall it No security. When I click on anything I want to look up there is no way to check if site is secure before clicking on link Phone full of third party software. All coming from developers using license provided by Google Go. Even settings being controlled/managed, example- can't connect to WiFi calling outside of network can't open Download files calls being forwarded to some strange number can't change to my number

Personally, I do not like this version of the Google App. I find it frustrating when searching because the suggested words or phrases don't seem to match up to what I'm looking for and it's very easy to select the incorrect suggestion so I end up needing to begin the search from the beginning, several times sometimes. What I dislike the most, this is preinstalled on my phone so even if I disabled it and download the full version, this version still takes up space on my phone.

I was so disappointed when chrome flags removed the duet option for the search bar at the bottom of the screen. This app resurrected it and I am so grateful. I like to be able to multitask and use my phone with one hand. On chrome that is no longer an option. On Google Go it's no problem. Now if only I had more customization in the settings. I would like to see a full one handed experience. Order top search results from bottom to top etc. I don't normally review apps so you know I'm thrilled! TY

Just uninstalled it after two days of sincerely attempting in vain to comprehend how it had improved upon the original Google app. The moment at which this opens one is faced with a violation of esthetics, a mass of confusion, and a lack of order. In an effort to display a plethora of source possibilities and choices, simplicity has been obliterated. When I reinstalled the original format, there was an audible sigh of relief.

It's a pretty solid app. I've actually removed a good number of apps from my home screen because I can open them within Google Go (Facebook, YouTube, etc). My biggest complaint is the "lite" browser. You can search, but you don't have the full functionality of chrome. I guess that's the point? But honestly I find myself using chrome a lot, but simply because of the lack of web features within Google Go.

Any app with go attached to it has to GO. Although I appreciate the constant and perhaps the neverending "improvements", there's too much stimuli and tutorials for this to be considered easier to use. My understanding was that Google was developed for everyone to use easily but it also can leave some behind just as easily. My opinion is just that, it's mine. Thx.
