Ulasan untuk HP Sprocket
*Edit Mar'22. Issue has been resolved. I'm so happy they fix this. It's truly a wonderful printer and the app is so easy to use. I'm glad I'm able to print properly again. Thank you!! *update: the latest software update Jan'22 is terrible, final print isn't same you see in preview. This is no longer suitable for my memory keeping process. Very dissipated. Please change it back. Easy peasy, love using the Sprocket in my journal and planner.
3/16/22 UPDATE: Thank you to the developer for the prompt reply and restoration of the ability to crop and rotate again. 2/11/22: Please FIX the ability to crop and size the pictures. Revert to what the app previously allowed. The inability to crop, rotate and size pictures is a HUGE negative and is a VERY disappointing update. PLEASE FIX ASAP!!
For the most part, the app works as expected. I just have a few suggestions for improvements: 1) Let me crop my picture, don't auto crop out my forehead so it fits the required aspect ratio. 2) Show me the actual color that will print. I've started increasing the saturation to ridiculous levels trying to guess what the printer will do. 3) You have access to my photos. They're all sorted by date. Let me filter by date, or scroll the way Google does so I can at least get close to the day I want.
Simple and fast. I have a Galaxy S8 little hiccups along the way but once I got the hang of it smooth sailing. If I can suggest one thing that would take this over the top... Allow the app to make custom presets. Like writing and borders. I don't like the fact that I always have to edit the pictures. I used this at a party and would have been awsome if I could use a custom preset border or writing and it was just there by default when I took a picture. Kind of like how photo booths do it at events. Do that, fix some of the connection issues... And you have a 10 star product!
I have so much trouble with this app. Sometimes it prints no problem, but most of the time it won't print or export. I like to edit the photos and add stickers and when I spend 5 min doing it for it not to print, it's so frustrating. I will redo the edits, and then have the same problem. I'm using a Galaxy S22 ultra and have the latest update.
Very disappointed with latest auto-crop "feature". I have been using the Sprocket for at least a year and it worked fine for my purposes (printing sticker photos for my planner). When my photo did not match the aspect ratio of the paper, it would print with blank white space on the sides of the image--which is what I want! Now every image is auto-cropped to fit the paper, sometimes losing parts of the picture that were important to me. This will drive me to look for a different printer.
Edit 1/30/22... this last update in Jan'22 made everything worse... no zoom, resize or rotate. When you go into editing the rotate buttons are inactive and stay that way no matter what. From March'21: I wish I could give negative stars. I used to love my Sprocket, so much so that I have an original, a 2.0, a Select, and a Studio.
Update 🦨 stinks. Used to be able to add a photo and easily spread with two fingers and enlarge the photo within the frame. Now you can no longer do that. I have to attempt to enlarge the photo on my own and then hope that it fits within the sprocket screen. Why on Earth would you take away something so basic. Bring it back.
The first Christmas present I'll be returning in my life so far. On the iOS app, even though you pair with Google Photos, it only picks up a couple of shared albums photos and does not load others. Also gives you a "You appear to be offline" error if you try to refresh. On Android it just never loads some of the images. And it's always the same photos. Do the pictures have too many colors or something? Expected a hassle free usage, turned out to be rocket science. Disappointed.
