IFTTT - Automate work and home

For being the most popular app for what it does I'm surprised at lack of triggers & actions available for even standard things (like I can't set a trigger for when I connect to a specific Bluetooth device). And while I DESPISE the trend of every app charging a subscription fee, this one actually makes sense; HOWEVER, the subscription cost is ridiculous. Free should include at least 5 services, and then price tiers after that. Lastly, the button widget should be more customizable.

Can't justify the price... I really wanted to use IFTTT when I heard about it on a YT video, and would be an awesome tool, but I don't think it's worth the price tag for the background tasks that both Google and Alexa can do a fair amount of without the need of IFTTT. App seems simple to use, but since you can only couple things before paying for PRO I barely dove into it.

I'm torn. The app was amazing and does work with most of my devices.( I had to find some work arounds) but now they are charing for the same service that used to be free. The main problem I have is that if I pay I'm still limited to only 20. If I am paying a monthly fee I should have unlimited options. I get it everyone needs to make money so I can't complain about the free version but if I subscribe then I should have full access to setup everything I need.

Was a good app to use for a few applications in automation, but for just for a few thinks that I could use it for, I am finding work around just not to use it. It is to expensive to use for just a few things. If there was or is a competitor software that did the same thing It probably would be more reasonably priced or free like it used to be or have more features offered.

This is one of the easiest automation applications that anyone can use. I would remind people to prune any applets that they don't need, however, if they are using precise location as that can eat up a lot of battery power. Overall, a fantastic application that is superb whether it is used as a standalone application or connected to other applications. I highly recommend this!

What a mess. Not only are there restrictive limits, but deleting old applets is amazingly difficult - some, which use services no longer available, can't be deleted AT ALL and count against your limit! Alerts haven't been sent at all today. Sending test alerts haven't worked at all today. Logging into the app hasn't worked at all today - just keep tapping submit after entering the password and the screen blinks. 1 star describes this service perfectly: "Hated it"

Too expensive. It used to feel very "grassroots" but they have pay-tiered it to the point that you can't even explore it heavily without posting a monthly subscription fee. I world have been happy to pay a one time charge. There are free/cheaper alternatives like Tasker and Smartlife. No need to pay for this.

I have never in my entire life seen such an exorbitant way of doing things. First of all, you literally can't do two things at once. Literally. One trigger cannot have two actions or a script or anything. That means you need yet another app like Stringify (which is almost every bit as bad in every way) to do this and it is hard even then (I had to first set a variable, then test it multiple times with each running a separate IFTTT applet.) Also, they worked very hard indeed to maximize the time and effort required for every single step. For example, under services it does not show which ones you have. No. It shows the ones they promote most. You must search. Every single time. Same for things. Search every. Single. Time! And when you create a new applet it immediately "suggests" others (like an ad popup in your way.) I literally can't imagine a worse way to do all this than the way IFTTT does things. It is exponentially increasing effort for small, simple things with pestering. This is literally the worst possible programming practice.
