It functions. But uploading on the app is mediocre (can't add or remove images from an album once it's been made, can't paste text in easily, upload errors with no explanation). Browsing always has some bug or another. Right now it has the text and picture start at the top of the page so the picture overlaps the text and hides it. Doesn't always happen but it's enough.

Why does this app always ask to pop up when I'm trying to view an Imgur link, but then open up and show me irrelevant content instead of that linked gallery?

I stopped using visiting the site in 2019 due to issues with the app and finally came back to check it out now. It still has it major problems. The biggest is that the feed is slow to update. I'll be scrolling through Most Vital and click a post in the bottom left. It often doesn't take me to the right post because the feed was slow to update. When I go back, it re-updates and the post I saw there is replaced by another. The one I clicked is no nowhere to be seen. Too buggy.

Ads apparently are more important than user experience. Literally almost ever time you open a thread or image or even worse a video, an ad playing music will start up and not stop until it finishes even if you minimize the app. Seriously, who thought this was a good idea. Anytime one plays, it shut down Imgur time. A great way to keep me off your platform.

Completely Useless For Sharing. I want to SEE the images I have saved on my personal account. I want a clearly marked button for logging into my account, apart from notifications. This clearly is the most half-assed concept of a program that I have ever encountered, as literally every other app ever developed for an online service includes the basic functionality to log in and log out of your account, to access your personal profile directly, and exercise control of your account settings.

It will randomly open the play store without warning, sometimes multiple times in a row. Descriptions on images are cut off or transposed onto other posts. When scrolling through posts, it will snap back to an ad making you go through 5-6 posts again. Overall, the app is completely broken and the device show no interest in fixing, just adding more ads.

Used this app almost 10 years. Used to be a funny app but now it's just the same liberal jokes over and over. I don't like Trump but I have had enough of this dribble and being told what to think. O and the app itself is the worst piece of software engineering I have ever seen. Just use reddit or anything else, please.
