myTuner Radio App: FM stations

I mean the stations are there. However it cuts to ads in the middle of things often and sometimes it just gets stuck on ads on repeat. Also. I kept getting popup ads whenever I'd use the internet on my phone or open an app. Couldn't figure out where they were coming from. I uninstalled this app and suddenly no more popup ads. Pushing popup ads through at all times even when not in use is the worst thing an app can do.

So far, the app is very nice to use. Ads are not too invasive to the app's experience & operation. Only thing I have to give feedback on is for my favorites page to be a little more condensed to a single line across, rather than bulky square blocks & having to scroll over 3 or 4 times to find a station, i want to change it to. Just organize as a list going down please. Least I can listen to Delilah, Bob & Sheri, & even John Boy & Billy Big show on at least 1 station.

One star because it's super glitchy! Favorites disappear all the time. Payed and free versions have the same problems. Must remember to search for favorite stations all the time! So annoying! Several updates haven't resolved problems with favorite stations disappearing. Equalizer doesn't work. Love and hate this app.

Very good app with so many stations of each different genre music that it's impossible to have only one 'favorite' station...because there's so many more that you haven't listened to...yet! Music lovers will enjoy the time they spend on this site. Music is internationally loved and therapeutic to the minds of many. Enjoy everyone!

myTuner Radio free v update: forces ads on you FAR TOO FREQUENTLY. and it's very obvious those ads use a LOT of memory & cpu resources! Plus of course, you then have to listen to the ads that are built into the station's you're listening to. It has some of the radio stations I was looking for but is missing quite a few others. Also, it will NOT run without starting the Chrome browser for some crazy reason! And if you force close the Chrome browser the myTuner radio app stops working!?!

5 stars until a couple weeks ago. Now it's 2 stars. The app was once amazing. There has always been ads placed in the app which I was cool with, it's free. Unfortunately the ads have become invasive. Just experienced a full screen add that I could not get out of without closing the app (which led me to this 2 star review). I'll give it 1 more week. If these invasive ads aren't fixed, I'm uninstalling and will find another app elsewhere.

I use this app with my Bluetooth speaker at the small doctor's office where I work. It's much better than the old boom box with the dial radio that I've since tossed in the dumpster. The antenna required me to wrap it with aluminum foil and stand in just the right spot without moving AT ALL. That's the ONLY way it would hold a decent station. I appreciate this very cool app which allows me to listen to my local radio stations.

Tried several radio apps before this one. The one just never worked right, it would stop working if the screen was off, or at other random times. Another app worked better, but had too many ads and very annoying graphics when it first was opened. I like this one so far. A little tricky to navigate- but I haven't had it long enough to get used to it.

The mytuner app keeps their station data up-to-date; on the rare occasion that station information needs changed they are all very polite, eager, and quick to enact a panacea to the problem. The ads that show up are not intrusive and troublesome, even when I do not deem them relevant to my situation personally. They have the best selection of small town, city and major city stations to choose from. The stations offer a plethora of choice ; they have all the great stations I grew up with.

This is the best app I've found since TuneIn. Allows favorites. So far the ads do not seem to be invasive. The interface is a bit busy but manageable. It finds and plays podcasts as well as live radio which should be standard feature of all radio Apps. It has a pop-up screen that allows you to see timescale as well as move slider thru. However, no jump forward or jump backward buttons, you must use the slider. But I do like this app structure and could be a contender with TuneIn.
