Write by Voice: Speech to Text

I'm a driving instructor and am using this app to help a deaf pupil. This is the only speech to text app I've found that works with Android Auto, so the text comes up on a large screen making it easier for the customer to see. It's not perfect, these things rarely are, but it's good enough to make me happy to purchase the premium version. Even without buying the premium version, the ads aren't intrusive, they're placed in an area where they're clearly visible, but it doesn't stop you.

Bought this by accident as I was using something else that worked really well and thought it was this app. As with other peoples reviews the app is all but useless as a voice or conversation recorder. A better title for it would be voice note recorder since it stops recording the instant you stop even to breathe. They have my money and it is now uninstalled. I only give it 2 stars due to lack of usefulness not because it doesn't work. There is no way you can "Write by Voice"

Pretty good so far (not yet bombarded in excessive video ads or anything) but it could do with a way to add punctuation and recognise "full stop" "Comma" etc. The beeps are incredibly annoying and I wish there was a way to turn them on/off/select different tones/control volume. I don't need them, others will.

The app seems to work pretty well in voice recognition. However the moment you stop speaking it automatically stops recording and you have to press the button again. This is okay if I have the phone in my hand, but if I'm driving I have to keep pressing the microphone and that becomes a little annoying and very distracting.

I never post EVERR! Man this app is everything I've been searching for, I love it It's perfect. It allows you to start off on a rough draft, plus a feature that I really appreciate is the talk-to-text when it's done listening to you speak it gives you several different options just to make sure that it heard you correctly talk about saving time. I'm absolutely buying the full version . Thank you Developers!

I like the app. It is comfortable to use. I just wish it was adjustable for typing speed. If i slow down with speach forming the thought for the next sentence, i would have to push a mic again to continue with the voice typing. It is especially inconvenient when driving. Everything else, is great, i have no complaints.

Nyoop. Uses Google voice to text - which I already have installed on my phone. So it's 100% redundant. With every sentence it gives you a 4+ options for what your sentence could be, and often none are right; none are what you actually said - cap, spelling, and ggrammatically correct. Pretty maddening. I immediately wiped data and unistalled.

Overall I liked this app but I'm rating it 2 stars because if you accidentally hit the arrow next to the microphone it seems to be the same as hitting the delete button. there's no way to undo hitting the arrow that I guess redoes everything and you can't find the entire text message again anywhere you just tried to type. You might as well erase the arrow button and just keep the trash can.

I've just done my first dictation. I am amazed at how accurate the text is as well as the accuracy of the spelling. I have chosen this app because of the customer service that I see when the developer response to all of the feedback messages. That impresses me. I still have several questions which I am contacting the developer for help. By the way for those who dislike the pop up Google, and I am one of them but because I I'm so impressed with the app, I will put up with big brother G looking over my shoulder,and live with it. However I have discovered that if you use your microphone on the keyboard instead of the microphone on the app it isn't as intrusive interrupting my train of thought and creativity.It seems that I am still getting the Acuracy. I'm looking for information about how to download into a template ie, a play write template or just document layouts. I have lots to learn and need to be directed to where I can find the instructions.

I am experimentings with apps using my voice. This app is very average. If you stop speaking in the middle of a sentence, and start speaking again, it will automatically capitalize the next word even though it should not be.The following sentence is a clear example of what I previously Mentioned here.You can see where it has Capitalized. Sometimes it does not clearly Understand what I am speaking. I don't see an option to Change the color of the keyboard.
