Option of "FULL PAYMENT IN CASH AT TIME OF CHECK-IN" is awesome for travellers who don't own bank cards issued by Russian banks and are booking from outside sanction-hit Russian Federation. Many thanks 🙏👍👌👏✌️

Ostrovok made me wait over one hour in hotel lobby and refused to cancel reservation. I booked 2 hotel rooms on Ostrovok. When I arrived at the hotel, they told me there was no reservation under my name. In fact, they said they didn't work with Ostrovok and didn't even know that business. I called Ostrovok to explain the situation and they said they would take care of it. I waited in hotel lobby for one hour and the hotel still did not have any reservation for me. So I called Ostrovok to tell them to cancel the reservations and that I was leaving the hotel. They refused to cancel the reservations and warned me that they would charge my card anyway. I left the hotel because making me wait over one hour in a hotel lobby for a room I already booked is unreasonable. They ended up charging my card although I never was able to check in. Great customer service Ostrovok... Will never use again and recommend anyone to use an alternative like Agoda.
