I really enjoy using this app. I just really wish you could toggle the filters or perhaps if you were able to pick the photo you want to use before applying the filter. Maybe have the photo you pick be the example photo shown for each filter? That way you can preview what it will look like once the filter is applied? I love the app nonetheless but those are just my little suggestions. Anyways, keep up the great work!

This app went through a major update. They added lots of filters and kept my favorite ones. IMO, this app has the best algorithm for cartoon effects: subtle, not too "liney" and smooth. The monthly price is quite steep. At $4.99 I would hope to buy for at least a year or until next "major update" adding new and improved features. I'm a firm believer in devs getting paid for their work cause they really do put alot of tedious time into making everyone else's lives more fun. Still 5 stars, tho.

I don't enjoy giving any less than 5 stars. However, this app lost the reason I used it. Previously, I thought the cartoon effects were the best I could find. The app used to be unique for the layering of effects on top of each other inside the same activity and saving was quick. I really wish the devs would bring back this feature and function design. Also, the price is steep. Perhaps a token system with 1 coin per export would get more subscribers. That's my advice. thx 4 the hard work devs!

Having the PhotoMania icon pop up in the top right corner can be intrusive. One example is when facebook suggests friends. Its aggravating trying to get the icon out of the way to click the X that winds up under it. Perhaps they could move it to the top left. Having both ads and a watermark on the image after using the app is a bit rude. Otherwise, overall it is a great app.

It was very simple to use. Although having better options such as changing my photos to fit the frames and easy way to select from the sd card if needed would be great. Can't have everything be perfect . Leaves no room for improvement. It does have nice selections. Really clear and amazing results.

OK but... Made me rate five stars to "unlock everything" but that unlocked nothing extra beyond the free stuff. It's pretty expensive for just a filter based app. That's all it is. Filters. And you cannot adjust them. Can't brighten or sharpen or crop or anything. You'd have to go to another app or your gallery to adjudt. The ads aren't bad at all so I'll keep free version for now. OK but not worth $4.99/month /$23.99 a year (no purchase option). I'd pay $5.99 to own, NOT RENT. But no more.

Many nice, even near-great things. (Esp. small file sizes when using only the near-great frames templates on photos; files using more effects get larger.). But controls are quite clumsy: (not to mention you can't even use the app at all w/out a WWW connection!)... No undo, it seems -- &, as always, very needed. Also, ALWAYS good to add BASIC, "pre-editing" tools like crop, flip, rotate, vignette, etc. Esp. since you can't adjust photo, for ex., once photo is in a frame.

Me. Its ok. The effects and such are kind of childish. You can't crop the pictures, or move the frames to frame better. I'm literally just keeping it because I like a few of the frames. Also lots of the "effects" don't apply to the picture when you click or tap them. Many of them are pretty cheesy. I'll be looking for another photo editing app. I really wouldn't recommend this one. I'm actually just going to do a few pictures with the very few effects and frames I like then delete this app.

Good for filters/screens -but thats about it. No basic tools like cut/crop or basic rgb color adjust- etc-no brushes or focus-no way to align a photo with the pre-cut frames-filters have no adjustments as far as intensity so basically a die cut take it our way or leave it. So you basically could use it as a jumping off point but still need another photo editing app-wish developer would have spent the time making the other half & it could've been a goodgo-to/all in one.

I downloaded the app to my phone, everytime I would pick out the photo I wanted to put a frame around, it would come back saying "something went wrong, try again". I had tried this about 6 or 7 times with no results so, I went in and deleted the app!!! This is very frustrating because, I have used this app in the past and really enjoyed some of the frames they have. This is really a bummer, hopefully they can figure out what the glitch is so they don't loose anymore customers.
