I used to be logged in to the app with no problem but now I have to log into my fb/ instagram or gmail account to be able to continue on the app. It feels like they are trying to get our personal information. You cannot use the app at all without getting into your other accounts. It is very fishy. The app used to work great but now there's a bug and the history, watch later, liked videos and all my playlists are gone! Edit: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and that fixed the bug.

From the best app on my phone to the trash bin. This used to be my favorite app ever, I was super proud to spread it between all my friends but the whole point of not having to stop watching your videos to see ads was fully forgotten. What a shame. I don't mind the ads in the search bar or between the recommended videos but the ones that appear when you open the app really ruined it for me. I don't know what app I'll use now but not this one unless they stop with the intrusive ads.

It used to be great and I gave it 5 stars. It blocked ads, supported background play and had a popup player. The in app ads were fine as it blocked youtube ads which was the whole reason I downloaded it and it used to do that perfectly. Now it's just a front end for Chrome, doesnt block ads, doesn't support background play and doesn't have a popup player. Came here to let people know, drop it to 1 star as I can't give it zero and to uninstall.

Does what my computer is capable of doing, which is blocking ads and playing in any resolution my connection will allow me to use so for that reason I feel like it's good. Now, there are some issues it has though. Lately it won't let me like videos anymore, and sometimes it won't load a certain page, like the home page or sub page. A bit frustrating so I hope it gets fixed. It's doing it even more with the newest update.

I used to loved this app. I listen to a lot of YTvideos (I don't watch them) so I loved that I could close the screen, save battery, and keep listening. But now if I need to open the screen again there is an ad. I thought the app itself was designed to block ads on YT videos. Yes, the video doesn't get interrupted randomly- only when you open the app. The thing that bothers me though is that often the video continues with the sound of the app on top making me miss part of what was said

This app WAS PREVIOUSLY a great ad-free alternative to YouTube that allowed you to play videos in pop-up mode and with the screen locked. As of the last update, which was forced past my disabled auto update, it has become a basic web browser with NONE of the previously mentioned features. It doesn't even block ads on videos anymore despite the app title saying it does! What kind of a joke is this? If I could give zero stars I would.

What in the terrible update just happened? This used to be a great app for removing ads, and I liked the in-video controls like changing the volume and brightness. Then some pop up ads started appearing, which was a bad sign, but I didn't really mind. And now I go to use it and it's become a web browser?? What happened? Why? What is the thought process behind turning it into a web browser? Uninstalling, the regular YouTube app is a hundred times better than this

I came here because I noticed that the download function doesn't exist anymore... then I noticed that there is an update, and now the app is not working anymore?? The ads that have come up after leaving and coming back to the app have been slightly annoying, too. But if the app is not working at all, functions that now exist in the original but not here and a much higher amount of ads... when I first downloaded this as an apk I was happy with it. Will change my rating after decent changes...

This app used to be a decent alternative to the official youtube app, but the latest update (as of 27.05.22) turned the app into a (very bad and feature-less) internet browser. Literally who asked for this? If I want an internet browser, I'll download a browser. This page is now false advertising as the app is no longer a video player, it is quite literally an entirely different thing and not what you see on screenshots. And yes, it no longer removes youtube ads either.

Hi. I've been using the app for weeks, ig? It's really cool, no ads. I accidentally uninstalled it a little while ago. But the thing is, whenever I try to press the "lock" now, the little pop ups appear, tho I didn't press the "pop up". Feels like the lock feature is useless. I tried to change the settings but it's always like that. I got more distracted seeing on my peripheral vision that something up my screen is moving. I just want to know how to make the background music work again.
