Overall, it's a good product. I primarily use this for audiobooks. I have not noticed the other problems other people have mentioned. The only problem that I've seen is that it frequently just stops. I will listen to my audiobook for about 10 minutes. Then, the app will just close itself. It's pretty annoying to have to reopen the app and restart the book. I do have to remember to download anything that I plan on listening to in the car, but that's on me.

Slow... Always stuck at buffering when listening to audiobook. I speed test my connection and seems ok to me. Its just that the app servers are slow.

I used to like and enjoyed scribd because they have a variety of ebook and audiobook selection, but now not anymore. I have 88 unread books on my tbr, but when I searched for the ebook or the audiobook version, surprisingly, they're not on the list. Uninstall it again.
