SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files

This app is awesome for transferring files, but for some reason my new Samsung phone is having some issues connecting with the computer app. It recognizes the connection, but for some reason won't connect. With my old phone, restarting the app solved the issue. I think it's issue with my computer, not SHAREit, security blocking my phone. Need to tinker with my computer's (multiple) security to find out which one is preventing the connection.

App has been ruined by adds that target me even when offline or on another app. The adds sometimes even block me from using the app because when I close when another pops up. To make things worse the quality of the ads is really bad and sometimes inappropriate. Edit: The app has also become a little confusing, which isn't much of a problem for me but might prove difficult for others.

Ads. Ads, ads, ads, ads, ads. 3 full screen, intrusive ads to navigate to a different subfolder, or just config something, then 3 more to navigate back. This, on top of the cluttered mess containing tons of baked in ads all over the GUI, makes this a completely useless mess. It's as far from intuitive as possible, & pushes all kinds of ads, to the point of being offensive. Installed for less than 5 minutes, before deleting & never touching another app by this dev again. Horrible.

This app saved me from losing all of my pictures from my S7 when I switched to an iPhone. I tried so many apps before this that claimed to do the same thing, but none of them worked. Share it worked right away and I only had issues with a few pictures, but overall it transfered over 2,000 pictures in a really quick time and I only lost a few pictures.

Shareit used to be great! Now they added these annoying videos that come up straight in your face even if you don't want to see them. And even after deactivating the notifications. I don't know who asked for the videos or the music.. This is an app to share your media or files, not to watch videos or hear music. They can add these options but not forcing them on the user.

It is a great app to share files between different brands of android devices. It is faster than the proprietary Samsung file share. However, I wish it had less advertising. I do not mind some advertising because the creators need a source of income for living but, different than other apps, this app is bloated with ads. More ads than functionality. Yet, it is still worth 5 stars.

So much bloatware. Way too much bloatware. I downloaded the app for one reason, sharing images. I don't care about downloading now games. I don't care about what's trending. I hate popups. I get it, monetization is important. However, extreme bloatware is NOT the answer. I'll be removing this app. Didn't even try it yet. Completely turned off by the insane mess. I'll pass.

This app was cool before as it does what it's supposed to do when sharing files between devices. What's not cool was the recent surge of background ads even when not in use. They even show foreign ads that I can't read. Very annoying. If I'm in need of file transfer again I'll just look elsewhere. This one is a hard pass until they stop with all the shenanigans.

I think it was this app the AV complained was infected (it was in my Play Store library). I figured better not take the risk, and uninstalled. This was two years ago, so I'm not sure if that is still happening. This is a strange app, as it now apparently also serves as an online music player, video player, all those unrelated functions. Maybe to entice more people to use the app?? My recent review somehow got removed, but I did not delete it. Better not happen again.

Just downloaded this app and my Android and ipad talked to each other, but i can't figure out how to use the videos that it transferred. They aren't useable and are sitting in Share It. If you just want to look at them, you'll love this app, but I wanted to edit and make a larger video. Wish they could be moved to My Photos.
