Nice app. I use it to mount SMB shares from my home server to access and transfer files between phone and server. Worth the $4 to get rid of ads. Only thing is the app is a little unintuitive, took some time to figure out how to copy/transfer and that it works via "panes". That's why I give 4 instead of 5 stars. Devs did a great job anyway.

Found SE while trying to find a file manager that could encrypt files on both internal and external storage (Remote, SD cards, ect.). I also wanted a clean, rich, but not bloated feature set for performing file operations to help me manage my excessive data when not at a computer. I got all that and more! Features missing for a 5th star that I'm using other apps for: File/Archive Spliting, Meta Data Editing, Conditional/Timed Task Scheduling to simplify/automate file organization and cleanup.

When I first started using this YEARS ago, I didn't care for it but kept on installing when switching to a new device. HOWEVER...NOW...IT IS A LIFE SAVER. My most used app is a database app for *.pdf files but with the new android restrictions (Samsung S22 Ultra - Android 11) I'm able to transfer from my USB drive to the default location Android/data. W/ SOLID EXPLORER, I can grant access to the location and can move the 8,401 pdfs (currently) to default folder! GODSEND/LIFE SAVER! 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is / was a great app, hate to leave a bad review, definitely not going to leave a one star, but I need a fix to continue using it. It crashes on launch. Reinstalled and it went through the intro and permission prompt, then showed a file list until I clicked on connection manager. Then it crashed and crashes every time I launch. Please fix this great app, probably a change in latest Android.

Dropped from a full 5 stars to 3. No longer copies files Android data files under Android 12. This is a big disappointment and i am switching file apps to Cx, which does. I love rotating the screen to landscape mode and having two file folders side by side. The search helps me to find the strange default locations programs use for storage. I had one problem 1-2 yrs ago that caused an issue with my University's security system and the developers addressed my concern almost instantly. Great job!

This does everything I want it to. In general, it is intuitive to use. It is powerful though, and on occasion I have to hunt a small bit to do what I want. That said, I have only used it 5-6 days and the vast majority of features are already easily used. Ease of setting up connections to multiple cloud storage drives was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a powerful Android file manager.

Pun intended, this actually is a solid app. It's also a great replacement for ES File Explorer, which I used for years but was removed from the Play Store for fraud. All that being said, though, the OS included Google File Manager has come such a long way that you almost don't need a 3rd party app anymore (unless you use a lot of cloud storage services other than Google).

Great app, very intuitive. Would definitely be a 5 star review, but every couple months it decides to become associated with my secondary google account and forgets that I already purchased the app. I have to uninstall, remove from my history, then reinstall from a PC to get it to register with my primary account again. This wouldn't be a big deal if I did not have multiple locations set up in storage manager that I then have to recreate. If there was a way to correct this without a workaround, it would be perfect for my needs.

Came over from ES file explorer. Everything is fine except for one point. When you hold down a file to select it, then rapidly tap other files to try select multiple files, the app responds incredibly slowly. You have to wait a solid half second to select another file. I think it has something to do with the animation, but whatever it is, this issue is incredibly irritating. Please fix it.

I've been using this for several years I replaced another app which was no longer supported. I deducted one star because there's room for improvement some things like renaming files is a little bit counter intuitive but overall I would say it's excellent and just recently I started using the built-in FTP server to transfer fit's for files on my local Wi-Fi to my desktop computer it was easy to use and the only issue was I just had to download a program in windows called FileZilla.
