Stay Focused: App/Site Blocker

I like the added functionality of hourly timers that Google Wellness doesn't have. Really helps me stay focused in the morning. Plus the interface for the actual app is so poorly designed and unintuitive, it acts as a natural deterrent to disabling an app restriction. You can't turn it off without at least 4 misclicks that force you to sit through a five second ad. Absolutely fantastic. 10/10

Good app, but the payment structure is a bit predatory. I appreciate that they make it a one time fee, but after a certain time period, the price quadruples. This is a classic predatory/deceptive tactic in marketing that essentially invalidates the "free trial" period by pressuring you to buy before you've really tried out the app. If it just cost five dollars, I would have bought it already. But because of the "limited time offer," I never will.

Nice clean, straightforward functionality. Does almost everything that I wanted. Worth the upgrade. Areas to improve: - app timer does not reset each day. For example, if I set "after 30 minutes, take a break" the 30 minute timer will start with the remaining minutes from the previous day (so I might only get 5 minutes before activation the next morning) - "block keywords" fuction does not work for Asian character sets.

Autumn Day

Worked for a day. I used my phone less was productive decieded to pause for the last hour of the day. Also my default broswer got set by this app. When I turned it back on to focus a different day wouldn't work. Ads play everytime I back out of any setting making it difficult to try and fix whatever messed up and set it to keep me focused. I don't mind ads but clicking a thing and immedoately backing out results in an ad is too often for me.

Customer service unresponsive. App is stuck on strict mode and can't be deactivated or uninstalled. I've tried contacting them for help 3 times with no response. Beware if you set it on strict to make sure it's set to turn off when you need it to. Mine is stuck by mistake, a year longer than I intended

Pretty effective and doesn't affect battery life nearly as much as the last app I tried. One large problem is that when using the 'take a break' feature, the block screen comes up when pulling up the recent apps screen. This has been a problem for months. The usage stats page also bugs out pretty frequently, mostly when switching days or changing from daily view to weekly view.

Indespensible app! Allows you to block both apps & websites, something few other productivity apps. do. Lengthy list of features allow you to choose how to block each website/app individually, allowing for optimal productivity. Has both a password feature and complete block mode to allow you to determine how easy it is to access blocked sites. Only quirk is that the password feature insists you enter your password even when accessing settings that have nothing to do with your blocked sites.

So far this app has been awesome. My sleep schedule was ruined because I'd habitually spend wayyy to much time on social media late at night when my will power was at a low. I tried a few apps but they didn't have a setting that 1. Was time of day sensitive, can lock a chunk of my day 2. Doesn't have an override. A simple pop up won't do it for me This app has both and I'm very happy :)
