The talks are good but the app itself is slow and a bit buggy the player opens when I change the volume or it doesn't open at all I tap on the screen and nothing happens it doesn't close the app when I'm tapping the back button it really sucks. If you don't mind the bugs this app is good for watching these talks offline but the podcasts are best on Google podcasts.

When full-screen, the pause button doesn't show up. It forces you to hit your own phone's back button if you want to pause, meanwhile the video is still playing as it minimizes the whole video. You have to press on the play bar to get the video up again, and only then the pause button is available. Aside from that, other streaming services allows you to customize subtitle size, but you can't on here, which is too big for the videos. I do appreciate the double language subtitles feature though.

The content and personalization features are great but any interaction with a video that is in progress causes the app to crash. if you try to rewind, change to portarit mode, skip ahead...video will stop playing. If it only occurred a few times there'd be no problem. But it happens every time. So if you're halfway through a video and it crashes you can restart it, but you cant skip ahead to the spot you were on last. Honestly I use the app to find great recommendations then find them on youtube

This app is very buggy. If you do anything besides watch the selected video straight through (e.g. 15s rewind, change the playback speed, rotate the screen back to portrait mode, etc) you run a high risk of it completely crashing on you and having to wait to get the error message pop up asking if you want to force close it.

I love Ted talks BUT this app is killing my experience. It won't even let me watch a video, it Takes a long time to even start to search. I am constantly restarting the app so that I can even click the search button. I finally got it to click a video and it freezes on the play video screen and im unable to actually play the video. I will be switching back to the website until the app is fixed.

The app has a glitch; when the next video plays, an add pops up, then it skips the video again and we have to re watch the add and it keeps replaying and skipping the next video. You have to get out of watching the next one and pick a different video, but sometimes the videos don't play and it gets stuck in thst cycle again... Just FYI if the developers didn't know. ...

Ads are agressive and evil. I tried several times to watch one video kept having to see the same ad over and over and over. It wouldn't play the video at all. When I was able to watch another and immediate aggressive ad came on as soon as the talk finished. I understand needing to generate revenue but like many other apps using the app itself has become a very draining and negative experience due to aggressive ads
