Absolutely the worst torrenting app you could possibly poison your device with. Intrusive, loud, auto playing ads every minute or so, can't find your downloaded files, so you can only use or view them within the uTorrent app. Yes, they hide your files, so they still take up space and you can't move them. Somehow slower download speeds than alternatives, and all around a terrible, terrible app. Wasted so much time downloading to be left clueless as to actually using my files or where they are.

Been a user since before it was on mobile. I do get frustrated with the ads and throttling but I understand keeping the app free means money must come from somewhere. All in all I have no issues at all. I enjoy the app. Throttling I know has nothing to do with the app because the source of the torrent may have a slow machine or slow network which hinders the speed of the download. I enjoy it you guys have been invaluable and I look forward to what else you guys have to offer in the future.

My speeds are being throttled. And I have emailed in asking for help and get no response. I don't know why it's happening. I've deleted and reinstalled the app. I will get 15 MB per download for like a good 10 minutes but then after that it throttles it down to just bites per second which is unusable. Get perfectly normal speeds through everything else that I'm doing.

After over a decade of using it on various devices, I'm leaving uTorrent. The newest update is appalling and makes it unusable. An ad pops up and immediately takes you to the play store if you try to close it. This happens every 30 seconds or so. If I'm really lucky, I might get 1 or 2 ad-free minutes before it interferes again. It finishes the execution the ads started with the new issue of downloading files incorrectly so they can't be opened, even when the torrent works elsewhere. I'm done.

So EZ to use. Would be cool if the 3 little dots didn't compete with the "preview" function on the interface. But thats a very small issue. I just find that a lot of times I accidentally initiate preview because the three little dots are such a small area and if not touched perfectly on target it goes straight to preview.

I've been using this for years. Has been flawless until a couple months ago when it updated. Since then it crashes constantly, doesn't load torrents and says that the service has stopped,(finally works after multiple attempts) and the main problem that I have is that after a torrent downloads, it doesn't show up in any folder on my phone until I restart my phone. Please fix this issue. Utorrent is the best

It definitely downloads torrents. I can't say it doesn't. But using the app is a letdown. The desktop program has loads of useful settings and features, while the app has barely a fraction of them. It's such a downgrade from what it could be. The ads are also notably unbearable, but hilariously, the pro version can be torrented. Not that the pro version actually adds anything of value, anyway.
