Used to be the BEST. Lightweight, fast, and free. Then came the ads, unobtrusive at first, but more & more intrusive as time went on. And while I'd gladly reward the devs with a onetime purchase, that's not an option, only a subscription. I need an APP, not a SERVICE. I stopped installing updates a long time ago, as these problems have only gotten worse with each update. Will keep using my old version as long as I can, eventually moving on to something else.

This app is great, but I've started getting repeating messages that a strange file (whose name appears to be in a foreign language) is uploading to my web storage. What's going on??? 12/13/2018 The problem seems to be fixed. Thanks for taking care of it and responding quickly! The app is great: I use it mainly and often for word processing and really like it for that. I've used it a little bit on a spreadsheet and it worked reasonably well for my limited use.

Good ! I use it everyday. Editing is not easy, though. The big round bubble that appears is, for me, an annoying, disorienting feature. I presume it's meant to zoom in where you touch the screen. Get a way to shut that off & make the bottom toolbar more accessible from within a document and I'll give it 2 more stars! The developers are communicative and keen to keep improving the app! As a writer, I find WPS Office to be a fairly good "on-the-go" writing app. However, it can be a pain to switch between devices when using Google Drive. Though you save a document opened from Drive on certain devices, it does not mean that it syncs. I found that re-saving over the file is the only way to do this when it doesn't automatically sync. Hence the pain. All you're doing when just saving, is saving a downloaded cahed copy to work on. I would say more, but I have no more room to explain.
