The latest version of the app now opens everytime to at least 5 seconds of ads before you can skip and get to the cameras. You pay good money to have your video viewing delayed by ads you cannot cancel. I would understand if an ad came up every now and then but this is everytime and is beyond frustrating when you just want to get to a camera asap.

Update: I previously complained about Yi limiting video access to 6 seconds unless you had cloud storage, they fixed that. Today I opened the app to see who was in my driveway, and got stuck watching an unskippable full screen ad for temu. I'm installing Yi hack on my cameras and setting up a VPN server so I don't have to use this garbage app any more. EDIT: pay for a camera, pay for SD cards to keep my footage local, then pay for a subscription just to not see ads when viewing my footage? Nah.

Cameras won't load even when 10 ft from router. Veri inconsistent playback. Motion triggers don't work as they did. All in all cameras are slowly deteriorating. Will not be buying more.

The camera was easy to set up however I've been having backend issues with my subscription. I reached out to support for help and they said they'd add the months I paid for to my account but now I've had to make a new account and support hasn't responded suddenly after over a week. Suddenly the account I've had for YEARS doesn't exist. It's also VERY slow and VERY money hungry for a mediocre product. Save the headache and spend the extra $5 for another brand like nest or wyze.

Works ok , laggy on loadup have to go through steps to turn on camera ,Will give it 4 stars when that annoying darn data charge warning is taken down or auto disappears very hard to get it to clear off screen.

Why are their ads when I open the app now? That's absolutely ridiculous as I've bought my cameras and shouldn't have to view a freakin ad before I view my cameras.
