I like the sound settings and EQ but the app fails to find correct artist, track order, grouping sucks, even if you manage to manipulate settings and get them grouped and ordered correctly, there's still no option for a folder view by album, much less that uses album art. Doesn't utilize .xml or .m3u or embedded tags per track file provided with folder, industry standard. No clear instructions for settings, 0 support, silent community.

Best music player since Winamp (RIP)! It is user-friendly like the desktop version when navigating through menus to customize how you want the player to behave. Like one of the other users mentioned, you cannot delete a file through AIMP because it will give you an error saying you have to go through whatever other program. Therefore, you'd have to dig through your system's folder to edit. That's my only complaint about this app. Otherwise, it's worth downloading!

I'm giving 5 stars because it's user friendly. I can add my own playlists, but the one complaint I have is that I can't sort by artists and albums like I could with Google music. It is a bit harder to upload files once programmed into my own computer. I like this app and will keep using it as long as I'm an Android user.

I like this app. I was looking for an app to play the thousands of mp3s I already had on my cpu. The only problem I have is that I listen to a lot of audiobooks and the tracks overlap. (I've yet to find the setting to fix this). As the current track is ending, the next one us starting, causing an overlap in the narration.

Not exactly an intuitive user interface. Trying to figure it out on my own groovy little challenging and there is apparently no help and built into the app. And put it on my playlist but not the songs in them. I was just looking for an alternative to rocket music player and I thought this one would be it. I am uninstalling it as soon as I get done with this review.

Seems nice but doesn't play nice with other apps. I want this one to play music and the other to play podcasts. I can close this and listen to a podcast and when I pause the podcast this will resume rather than the podcast app despite closing this and the other app still being open. If your not trying to juggle apps like this it is probably great

AIMP works as expected; a good replacement for the native music app that Google removed a while back. An odd quirk with the Android Auto screen for AIMP is that about 20% of the time, the album art displayed next to the song is wrong. I know it's the app that's at fault because I can switch between songs and the album art will be different and/or correct when it was previously wrong. Its like the app picks the art at random sometimes. This doesn't affect the music but it's weird.

I accidentally stumbled upon your app while searching for Winamp. AIMP is wonderful and I've been looking for something like this for years since I gave up Windows. I love the way you can let it look ahead at the next song and it starts playing gapless so many players claim they do that but they don't, also AIMP is completely customizable really good job really! I'm so impressed and I love it. I do wish it had a play folder 📂 option. Wish I had more space to rave how good it is..So Happy.

Takes a little to figure out the user interface, but isn't that difficult. As others have pointed out, it seems to have problems with cover art display. Really wish they'd have chosen a different logo as it looks like something is warning ⚠️ you of an issue or failure.

Not your Windows AIMP. The organization and functionality of this player leave me totally confused. 45 minutes of playing with it after installation, and I still have not got it to play anything... Getting to my music on my SD card seems to be a totally random adventure, and it unmounted the card twice. The equalizer appears to be vastly overdone. I really like the Windows AIMP, but not this android version. I'll stick with VLC for android.
