I used to hate this app but now that I have premium I love it. If you have the free version it will suck. If you can afford it go premium. Better than Netflix. The only reason that I gave 4 starts instead of 5 is that it is difficult to unsubscribe and some of the ads are annoying. There's been times when I try to resume a video and press play but all of a sudden an ad will pop up and take me to Google Play. Other than that it's great. Great selection of animes.

While watching with commercials, the volume is so much louder than the show, that I have to lower my volume in the app on my phone and on my PS4. Also I get tired of 4-7 commercials, most of the time they are repeated 2-4 times per break. Otherwise I would rate it 5 stars.

To much ads seriously even youtube do better. 5 to 6 ads of 30s each ! I have been a premium member, but I stopped my subscription for a month. But this makes me reconsider my choice. I'm really picky about the ethics of what I'm paying for. That's why I don't intend to ever renew my Netflix subscription. Crunchy roll kind of give me the same vibe currently, with those unskippable ads.
