I know that posting this review is pointless because it will not result in any changes. As a seller on ebay I'd say the app is easy to use. Managing incoming and outgoing payments on the app is simple. But when the search algorithm arbitrarily turns a search for books by specific authors into a search for car alternators or fruit (no joke...it happened) it's not an accident. It's programming by the developers. And it's all about profits for Ebay regardless of the aggravation for users.

I use three similar apps to buy and sell items. Out of the three in reference to the mobile version, eBay is the worse. When relisting or revising the price of an item, I receive error messages for a setting that is not available. I am very dissatisfied with eBay. The cost and poor quality provided is not worth the time and effort that it takes when Mercari and Poshmark offer alternatives.

Something is definitely wrong with this app. I'm a long time buyer on ebay. Since the last update, everytime I look up an item it only shows that item, no longer any "more like this" options or other related listings. That was the best part about ebay. It gave the option of getting the best deal on items. Whatever glitch this is needs to be addressed and fixed. Makes me not even want to get on here anymore. You click on an item to see multiple choices for the cheapest deal. It's not working.

Used for 4 years. One of the best mobile apps. Different than the browser interface. Self-explanatory and intuitive. Buying, postage labels, notifications, feedback, purchase history, sold items, list new items, get help, all selling functionality and search. Search hits are a subset of what you'll see with the web interface (browser). So, you might not get the best deal. But you don't need to log in after the first use. It does what I need.

Listing an item as a seller isn't working since the update. The circle keeps spinning and won't list the item. Pushing the back button is the only way to make it stop. Your photos won't be uploaded to the draft, so I have to transfer them to my computer to finish the listing and post the item. Extremely frustrating and crippling as a seller. Please fix!! Thanks!

Since the most recent update I'm having issues listing my items! I go thru the process of taking pics, title, description etc. Get to the bottom to either list item or save for later and it just 'spins.' The only thing it'll let me do is back out & it says saved as a draft! Go in and only 3 photos (out of 12) are there. Literally takes me 1-3 hours to get one item listed! It's frustrating and unacceptable. You make millions off of seller's, the least you could do is FIX YOUR APP!!!

I list DAILY on this app. It has been horrible lately with freezing even with perfect service. I can stream a movie, but updating shipping info is too much for the app to handle. You will fill out an entire listing, then when it won't post you save it as a draft. When you open the draft NOTHING saved except maybe the first picture you uploaded. Who wants to do work over and over and over ad nauseam? Please fix this app so it keeps an active connection as you fill out fields.

Selling on eBay is tough. It is really difficult knowing what you will get paid after selling an item. It feels like you are nickeled and dimed to death. You pay fees on the items sold amount, shipping amount, taxes, plus insertion fees, plus 30 cent. And if you actually want it to be seen, promotion fees. I don't understand why I as a seller have to pay fees on taxes and shipping. None of that comes to me. I wish they were like some other sites and show what your payout is when you list items.

I don't know what happened with the switch to the new view count system, but I have several listings that are staying on Zero views. I've tried everything I can think of but it's still not getting me views, even though they are comparable with all my other listings (same brands, etc). It's very discouraging, and there has been a noticeable decline in my overall sales.

Something changed with the search results (webpage too, not just app). I used to be able to view all the results. Now, like on ebay motors, you have to be very specific to see anything. I want to see what's out there, not be force to search for one specific thing. eBay has kinda lost it's appeal after whatever update/change was made. 😕
