WiFi App: passwords, hotspots

This app has been somewhat useful for finding and logging in to Wi-Fi hotspots, but it doesn't cooperate very well with my phone's Wi-Fi connection interface or with my VPN. The Free WiFi app will notify me of a connection, but often when I follow the notification's link to review the hotspot, I'll get nothing but the apps splash screen. And my VPN will tell me it can't connect to the server. None of this is a serious problem; I can still do what I need to do; but it's kind of annoying.

I wasn't comfortable with the description of the permissions I had to give for this app to work, but once on the permissions page, there was no option other than to agree. There was no option to cancel the setup. There was no way to activate the soft buttons that would allow me to close the app or switch to a different window. So, I rebooted my phone, found the app, and uninstalled it. But Google Play still shows it as installed. I'm less than thrilled.

So far not telling me anything I don't already know. It looks well populated at first, but then the luster died when I saw it's crowded with xfinitywifi and related pay-per-use/trial locations. This app really needs a user defined blacklist/filter option. Not to be too mean, but if I were a cable internet customer, I wouldn't have much use for this app; I want to be able to quickly locate and identify wifi locations near me OTHER than xfinitywifi/CoxWifi/CableWIFI.

Totally misleading. Zero passwords, tons of ads. Move along. This is not the app you're looking for. I've installed this POS in the faint hope of getting a couple passwords from nearby hotel's wifi points, this uys what this app us supposed to do, right? Wrong, in my location it just a map with wifi points from the local cellular operator listed as "public". And in realuty they cost money, because of course they are

I have tried Many Free Wifif Apps and to no avail... they never work for me!! However to my amazement I finally discovered the one wifi app that works!!! I downloaded it and forgot about it and within a few hours of running out of data on my cell phone, Wre AALLAHH... ...I recieved a notifcation, I was connected!!! Unwittingly for almost 2 weeks til I could purchase my Data I ws able to access a vast majority of info on-line that I normally wouldn't be able too! Im not saying it was speedy but I was impressed considering... I even purchased the premium: an entire $1... Lol.

I've only used it a little, but so far, fantastic! It has all the necessary features along with an extremely easy way to earn a free premium status (ad free). The free premium is enough to earn this app a 5 star rating, but the professional look, feel, and functions help too.

I've just bought multiple dual band wifi antennas. So this helped me pinpoint exactly where I had to set my antennas to receive free wifi from long range and the best part I'm actually using these things on a satellite dish together. Even though this app doesn't solve alot of answers, but atleast this has the peace of mind when it comes to wifi near your area. So I'll make a video on YouTube on how I was able to get my setup working using osmino and the actual purpose of this app.

The absolute worst all ever I've been searching for nearly an hour now all I've seen so far is not wifi connections or hotspots Only adds seriously of you make an app for WiFi map at least i mean it at least put some wifi connections in the only connection I saw was in Essex I was no where near there seriously improve you have a lot of work I absolutely don't recommend this app at all you could try it if you want to but I've already wasted an hour of my time don't waste your time Don't download.

The best free wifi app so far, but: would be great to have a scoreboard, with no ads and full sync for top contributors. Also missing a connect wifi via the app (but please no persistant service!). Don't forget that you can sell this app thanks to your user contributions ;) We are the data :p

Data hog. Keeps flashing a news feed of worldwide updates on your screen, annoying you and draining your data. There is a negative utility of this feature as it destroys valuable screen space, pick on your attention and waste your data. Not particularly smart.
