I thoroughly enjoy all the benefits of using Houzz. The magazine allows me to find all kinds of ideas and inspiration for remodeling my new home. Then gives me an idea book so that I can keep track of everyrhing. I can organize everyrhing with no paper hassle. It also provides easy access to products, designers and contractors. I love it!!!

Gorgeous photos with invaluable information, articles and contractors who can help make your house perfect! I see the work these companies have done and I know if that is the one for me. It's a win! I have all the photos I love in an album that is easy to retrieve and review at will.

Less than 24 hours after I joined I was using this app to help solve a technical difficulty. A member quickly responded with the correct solution saving me a great deal of frustration, time and probably damage. A real simple fix that I wouldn't have figured out myself. Also, there's endless resources for my specific interests. I am very much benefiting from this app.

The AR capabilities are neat... but the constant requests to allow access to my contacts is obnoxious. Even when I select "don't ask again" and deny permissions on the android prompt, the app still asks me to go into my settings and enable access to contacts every time I want to save a picture. and then always takes me a "share" screen which I have to back out of. I don't want to send the pictures to anyone, and I certainly am not going to give a furniture app access to my contacts.

I signed up through the app less than an hour ago. Now I'm signed out, and it won't let me sign back in. Before I was signed out, I was unable to edit my profile. Several menu items were also broken. Touching triggers a very fast loading notice, then it disappeared and nothing happens. I am at home with a strong WiFi connection. I want to like this app, but right now I don't think I can even use it. Developers, please get some testers and UX people and pay attention to their feedback.

What happened to the save option? For some reason this app has changed and when I click save it puts it in the wrong idea book rather than giving me a choice. When I try to correct it I get a search box instead of my list of idea books so I have to try to remember all the exact names of my ideabooks and then there is no confirmation that the idea has been moved. The same problem exists when I go to an ideabook and try to move a pic to the correct ideabook. It is frustrating!

I really like the concept of this app and it has been quite helpful for getting ideas and advice for my own home improvement projects. However I find it doesn't quite hit the mark for being very user friendly. Finding the advice section from the home page is difficult and posting on it is quirky without any way to edit or delete once you've submitted something.

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. I haven't really used the app enough to take advantage of the most appealing feature in my opinion which appears to be sending out promotional emails to users that apply specifically to products they have already been looking at. I have only added to my cart a shower curtain, but searched rooms & ideas from garden to the garage to bed linens. So articles suggested are equally varied. Direct emails are exclusively for the specific shower curtain.

Miserable and confusing user interface. Lots of pretty pictures, and supposedly you can store and index for reference, but all I ever get are interminable requests to login, notifications of an existing account, instructions to use links in an email, inability to use existing 99email contacts . It's just not worth the frustration and effort.

This app has given me wonderful ideas for organizing, decorating, remodeling, and even gardening. It is so enjoyable to read about home decor, and how others have remodeled on a tight budget. The elaborate houses are lovely too, though hardly applicable to my life and style. I enjoy the pictures and articles most.
