It says it's supposed to be more efficient, in data usage or whatever aspect it "claims" it is supposed to. Honestly my experience with this app is just awful. It's slow and just useless. Honestly if you have got an issue with your storage you would want to think this through because downloading the actual Instagram would be of more help.

I had downloaded it to save data but, like other users, I noticed that pictures and videos downloaded slowly and I could not save my files to other folders, which I do with the beta version. Today, I received the message that my status failed so I uninstalled. Furthermore, when I tried to open with another account, they told me I have to do something online on the screen, but no image or other data, and I clicked 'continue' but I can't enter. I have notified the developer but no answer.

The app has some potential but they're some bugs that needs to be fixed. It won't change to dark mode no matter how hard I try and I can't upload stories. Though I'm giving it credit for it's data usage.

It's a good app and I love it but sometimes it would take way too long to load posts and reels. Also, the comments, heart and 3 button, user and caption overlay icon would sometimes disappear. It's kind of annoying because I can't save the reels or read the comment section. Hope you can fix that. Overall, it's good

Each time trying to post something, the gallery option always display as blank box, no thumbnail, no matter what, and event thought I scrolling down or up. Yeah right. Good job for making the app worse!! IG was used to be cool app BEFORE Mark Zuckerberg and his minions take control... And to make it even worse, each time trying to update, it's always keep on error, no matter how much free space and good internet connection I have. Solution? Use the website instead of lite version.

Its at least a data saving app but to upload a profile picture iT can even take a year! You need to improve on that, and even statuses must be improved because they also take very long to upload!.

I don't know what happens with this version from Instagram, I can't use it with Wi-Fi just can enter using data mobile, I didn't found this error with no-lite version of Instagram. I think I will come back to normal version. Bad experience using this for the first time. 👎🏻

I really like this Android app. It's does what is written; light on the phone's resources. Unfortunately I cannot post a comment, photo, stories, etc. U gotta use the full Instagram app or the desktop version. UPDATE: now I can do everything on this lite app from Instagram, and there are no ads yet.

Good app. Does what it's supposed to. You get to see posts, stories and messages. Since it's the "lite" version, not all features are available (I mean obviously). I find the voice feature slightly jarring, and it lags a bit. But that might be my internet. Overall, good app. Def recommended if you're trying to cut down your screen time.

I'm giving this 4 stars. The app is good, considering that it is a lite version of Instagram. I use FB Lite too that's why I know how this works. I understand why there are not filters & effects since just like what I said, this is a lite version. If you want effects, go to the original app. I would like this app to have a feature to upload multiple pictures. I was shock to find out that you can only upload 1 picture. So I hope they will consider this suggestion.
