Edit: Sometimes i get a little issue when attempting to connect to different servers on mobile and desktop app (no app is perfect) - Been with these guys for years =) The creators / dev team do respond rather quickly. I got the lifetime subscription and can use them on most major platforms when surfing the net. Over all, the team deserves more credit. Very competitive compared to others on the market with no lifetime subscription. Thanks for all you guys do!

EDIT: The support team was quick to respond and put out a fix within two days. Excellent I love the functionality of this product. I just wish it were more stable. This is a great vpn option. Very fast internet for what it does. The stability issue I have is that it periodically will hang while "trying to connect". Restarting the app takes me to a login page that I can't pass. The only fix I've found is to restart my phone (S8+). This is annoying but I can live with it while the app is updated.

While I don't use VPN as often as I should, every time I do use it, it works flawlessly. I'm by no means an expert, but when I start receiving ads which are local to whichever server I've chosen, it does seem to indicate that it's working as expected. I also appreciate that I can cover multiple devices with one account and that I've got lifetime service. would purchase again.

I originally started using VPN Unlimited several years ago with a lifetime subscription. And I am glad that I did. Then it was just getting started and the software was kinda glitchy. When I contacted the help line, I got near immediate responses and resolutions to my issues. Over time, the software has become more sophisticated and is very stable. It works in the background without any intrusive pop-ups. I have experienced some signal slow-down, but generally it's not noticable. There are some sites that will not allow access when connected with VPN. I have to sign out temporarily, do my business then sign back in. That kind of defeats the purpose of a VPN, but I'm able to work around it. Most times I connect automatically with my home desktop computer when I start up in the morning. When I am away from home and on foreign Wi-Fi, I use VPN on my phone and notebook computer.

I've tried many other VPNs and VPN Unlimited was the best among them by far. I deducted one star because of an error I get sometimes when I start their service and stop for a while and return, app gets a bit glitchy trying to reconnect with no success. I usually end up stopping process and closing the app in order for things to return to normal but it's not much of a hassle.

I purchased the lifetime unlimited plan a few years ago. I can honestly say that I'm happy with the purchase, however the app seems to be lacking some features. I would like to see an option to automatically connect after every reboot, and an option to automatically switch to a more efficient VPN based on category (torrent, privacy, speed)

VPN Unlimited can be frustrating at times, and pleasantly invisible at others. Once set up, the VPN works great, and customer support have been helpful in the past. But I have also been repeatedly signed out for no reason. Recently I was both signed out and unable to sign in because the VPN server was on the fritz. This meant that I was connected to a broken VPN server and was unable to turn it off, because the Stop button was past the broken sign-in screen. Some redesigning could be helpful.

I've had this app for several months and have had a ton of issues lately. It disconnects and the only way to get it to reconnect is to restart the phone. With the VPN connected, I've had several times where it disables the mobile data connection completely. Other times, the mobile data connection is so slow that it's useless... searches time out and web pages error.

I kept hearing these bizarre sounds from my phone at random times that seemed to come completely out of nowhere. Some animal sounds, some music, it was like ads were playing on my phone but I couldn't see them. Nothing in my notifications either. It was freaking me out! It happened fairy rarely at first but it was going on for months. I just heard it again and tried updating my VPN and... It repeated. Within minutes of each other. This is an app I payed for.

Never Retro

A waste of money. I had to disconnect from VPN unlimited, disconnect my phone from wifi, and then reconnect just to write this review. That tells you all you need to know. When it does work, it's ridiculously slow. Desktop is not much better, either. Random disconnections, it freezes the entire computer at times, and you have to ctrl alt delete, and then restart it so that it works again after disconnecting. It's a pretty sorry software.
