I remember the setup was technically tricky, but then I certainly enjoyed the app. It was so easy to find the way to limit the children's screen time, to block some apps in kids mode and vice versa to allow apps in shutdown mode. My children grew up, so now we don't need it anymore. Thank you for the years of the qualitative work

Extremely hard to access advanced settings. It wouldn't apply the aettinga i chose. I contacted support and they told me to wait. I did and it still didn't work. Cancelled subscription, deleted the app, only to have it show back up and lock down. Don't waste your money.

There seems to be a versioning problem between the Windows app & the mobile apps. My daughter's laptop does not show up in the app as a controlled device. Her laptop is in lockdown mode & I can't even get into the settings to uninstall it. It's pretty good for mobile devices. Windows, not so much.

I do like some of the features, but the location jumps around so if you set home boundaries it constantly sends notifications that my son has left home zone then enters, very annoying. Had to remove the zone to stop this. When I started subscription the functions all said they were in beta mode telling me the functionality may or may not work properly, not very comforting when you spend money on something to be told it may not work properly. Screentime, screenshot, lockdown feature is nice .

At first it worked before I purchased the subscription. You need a computer for the premium features. I was unable to log into the desktop app but was able to on the phone. I tried from another computer and there is something wrong with the app and website. No support available via phone. It began to error in my phone and I couldn't manage my child's phone. Reinstalled. Did not fix. Wonderful concept but program is no good. I am sad it did not work.

Good concept but kept crashing. Put this app on both of my daughter's phones and for a few days it worked wonderfully. After that, the app would crash and it blocked whitelist apps but allowed the blacklist apps to work or it would totally stop working on the kids phone and I couldn't lock it. I had to re-download the app a couple times until I just gave up and canceled my subscription.

Kidslox works well for android phones, but due to apple restrictions it is not great for iOS. For this reason we switched our daughter to android. This app helps with setting schedules and finding out where she is. One thing that I wish it has was the ability to turn off texting in lockdown mode. It is kind of pointless to have lockdown mode if texting is still allowed.

mostly functional, but without a wifi connection to their servers it was totally impossible to change from child to parent mode or back -- and their servers seem to be overtaxed, if performance is any indicator. also, most of the functions I'd need for basic use -- as a childless adult with impulse control that just needs a slap on the wrist every now and then -- were only available as a limited free trial, then behind a paid subscription.

Edit: Tell me this: what are your free features if nothing is blocked?Went from 4 stars to 1. Like too many companies they switched to removing ALL helpful features unless you pay. Now their "lock" allows access to EVERYTHING unless you pay. I've tried the trial, paying, and non-payment and all of them had big problems. Now that the basic features are taken away I have no sense of it improving so I am going to switch to a different app that can show that they back up their product. Sorry guys.

We got this for the location tracking and it does a reasonable job, though we might still try some more options as it sometimes jumps around a bit (still better than the 1st app we tried though). We won't be stopping with this though, because it turns out we really like having a screen free hour before bedtime, it really calms the kids down and this is great for making it happen without a fight
