Kiwi Browser - Fast & Quiet

MUCH better browser than firefox, which seems to have more problems with each update. Fast, clean, easy to use, and safesearch works as intended when browsing. A setting to be able to clear history upon exit would be nice, and a setting to make it automatically got to home page, when all tabs are closed, would be good too. I like this browser, (over the others I've tried, with disappointment).

Sorry Kiwi devs, I thought I'd submitted a 5* review years ago but I just went to install it on a new (virtual) device and didn't see a previous review like all of the other apps that I DL ASAP upon activating a new Android device. Kiwi Browser is ALWAYS one of my very first DLs, every time. Not just for the extension support, although that is a big part. It's just a very well thought out, developed and executed browser from top to bottom. and it's blazing fast, too. Thank you Kiwi devs! Cheers!

My use fell off a couple years ago. Checked again a couple months ago, and I am thoroughly impressed. Not only have they open sourced it and extensions, they continue to improve the app. Like most projects of this size, it's always a work in progress, but that progress surpasses all others. Given the size of the team behind it, it is an absolute banger of an app. Thanks, y'all.

Without a doubt, currently the best browser available on Android. Between its focus on privacy, customization, and wide-ranging extension support, Kiwi Browser is peerless. However, where it needs improvement is with customer support and fixing known issues/problems. Scrolling through the reviews you will notice several mentioned problems that have gone unresolved for a year or more. I've had the same experience. Unfortunately, customer service does not seem to be a top priority at the moment.

We users currently can only view the simplified version of a webpage when the page first loads. What about all the times I either want to load the page by its default, then I decide to go with the simplified view? That no longer seems to be an option. Everything else continues to work well. This is my favorite browser, and I'm sad that it's not available for my laptop.

Clunky functionality with forced settings that only make sense for the developers not the users. I don't need to see the shortcuts you want to force down my throat every time I open the app. Also it has never cleared out history, cookies, etc on exit as it is configured to do. You always have to do it manually.

Easily the BEST browser for large print or visually impaired users, by far. So glad I found this after testing 12 of the most commonly used Browsers on the Play Store: Useful Features other App Developers Haven't thought of yet include: 1. The ability to change the way you see tabs displayed 2. Great accessibility and Font control 3. Increased font size does not create any visual glitches when using menus or the address bar. In short, very polished. Room for Improvement: Please add an option to have buttons like tab switching on a bottom toolbar while keeping the address / url display at the top of the screen. Great work!

Million points for extentions support when chrome itself can't figure it out! That's what lead me to this browser. Some sites just don't work in Firefox and need chromium but I refuse to be without ublock origin, privacy badger, and decentralizes. Turns out Kiwi is faster than Firefox! Note: homepage cannot successfully be turned off; it always annoyingly loads when url bar is clicked.

1. ALL PiP add-ons [installed] from Chrome store does not work, nor could I find Firefox's "Video Background Play Fix" add-on to install - visually non-intrusive & best. 2. No option to enable/disable video autoplay on Youtube. 3. Adguard add-on settings does not display properly (too large & near) & non responsive to zoom-attempt - to see all settings. Ditto for uBlock, but not as bad as Adguard. These are bugs. If developer(s) fixes it, it's fixed; If not, then don't fix it. It's your product.

At long last, most of the egregious bugs are fixed, and most of the features you'd want are added. Extensions work incognito now. They're always a little bit buggy, but they do the job. You can rearrange tabs. They show up in the wrong order when you open them, but entering the tab switcher, moving a tab, exiting the switcher, and re-entering it again sorts them back out properly. You can open hundreds of tabs, literally hundreds, and it almost never crashes. Highly recommend.
