Great cloud service. If you want to use a cloud service this is probably what you want. The app is alright. Some notes on the app. *Sometimes if you upload a lot of files (hundreds or more) at once the app will crash or freeze. *If you stream a video it won't be in fullscreen (and no setting for it) *On a samsung phone you can bypass the pin lock by opening the app with dex.

fantastic app! I've been using this for several years and always enjoyed the service. Only one issue I've seen and that is randomly something causes the app to freeze soon after opening the app. Still haven't quite figured out the root issue whether its on the device or the app itself. But it occurs on different devices.

I like my Mega cloud account, and it's great having access to it through a native Android app. I can download files from the cloud to my phone as well as upload them. The one thing that needs work is the camera uploads feature; as soon as I turned this on, the app froze multiple times. I had to uninstall/reinstall the app, and leave camera uploads off.

Used to be great now it's subpar, before and after the new update, there's data caps. When you want to download any type of file, you will be bombarded with messages that say your downloads been "exceeded" and "wait for 2 seconds" then the same problem repeats itself. I didn't have this issue until before and after the new update.

app always crashes, needs to have data cache cleared all the time, doesn't work properly, the features are so so so limited compared to the website, app runs slow and makes phones hot (yes, phones. tried this on a couple phones, including phones that have vapor chamber cooling built inside), half the time it cancels your upload files then restarts them again from 0%, and the UI is clunky when compared to other storage apps like Google drive or Dropbox.

I can't in good conscience keep supporting this app as it gets worse and worse. I'm so tired of not being able to login, having entire double digit GBs duplicating (which of course hurts my quota), having entire folders just get deleted, having random crashes on the app and now apparently even the desktop sync and the only solution for all of these issues is to just reinstall. I'm going to be moving providers even though it pains me as I have been with mega for years.
