It is doing something that I haven't been able to do with any of the many many other SoS (sound-on-sound) audio recording apps floating around the Androidia galaxy. Are there glitches? Yes...but random and not very often. And so far only one resulted loss data. The big take away here is an distinct sense of encouragement that the Android DAW has made considerable strides in closing the gap with the iPhone. So thanks to the creative team. Very encouraging indeed

It's hard to believe you can have such a powerful audio editor and mixer on your phone. It is indeed Audacity on your cell phone! Kudos to the developers! One humble suggestion/question: would it be possible to add an icon for zooming in horizontally, and another one for zooming out horizontally? Thanks! and keep up the good work.

The app's functionality is awesome. The appearance is outdated, but it gives the user flexibility and control when creating audio and music projects. I have limited experience with audio and video editing so the interface seemed pretty intuitive. The ads are hardly noticeable.

I use Mixpad for the edit features. I output mostly to mp3 and wave in 44.1khz. If it lags, I save project and restart, then it's fast. The app has more features than I use. It lets me sculpt complex songs with over 50 clips/regions sequenced for the final export. Grouping and ungrouping, and timeline looper are big helps. It takes precision touch to grab handles, and patience to learn what the app can do, but i think it's worth it. I've used it to make over 100 songs. Thanks to devs!

Seems to work very well over all! I think reading the manual is a must and it's still not that beginner friendly, but the real issue for me is that when you are in the effect editor the effect setting window is way too small so only 2-3 sliders are visible and it's a pain to scroll (both vertically and horizontally). I don't think that would be hard to fix.

Free trial should be a limited number of uses not tied to a specific time frame.. Don't download untill you got lots of free time to explore the app in a short time frame. By the time I got back to it I was nolonger in the trial period. I guess I'll never know if I like it. Sure... the app is "free" to download but anything usefull you might want to do, oh., I don't know, like perhaps add a track you alleady recorded brings up a paw wall. The free version not on a trusted app source.

Ver 7.49 on Galaxy S20 FE Android 11. Recorded multiple tracks and was editing it. Minimized mixpad to background for a bit (I've done this multiple times before this point) to pair my bluetooth earphones. When I opened it back up all my audios flatlined, the undo/redo buttons are inactive, and the history only has a single "Open Project". The tracks placeholders and the effects are all still there. Had this problem multiple times before (since 2015). Hope it gets fixed. Uninstalling for now.

Back then I would had rated this 5 stars. I used to use this app and it was great!! I paid for it too, but I can't access that no more for some reason. But straight to the point, when you record, you're automatically off beat. I literally had to sing off beat about 2-3s ahead of the tempo (don't know the term, so used this word) just to be on beat or edit the track to be on beat. That's just too much work. Your free version was amazing for mobile. But now, I just can't use it. I have an S21.

UPDATED: App took a while to find how to add an exsisting audio file. Voice effects were nice. Saved Project, tried to re-open project. Can never open project. The only thing the app then tells you is that they made an un-expected error. Then try to add doubt blaming you, saying that you possibly deleted or moved this Saved Project File. I closed, then re-opened my saved project, within 3 seconds. Therefore I obviously did not delete or move these files. If you find the files, and try to select individual files withing the project folder, it will open a picture app, that you never knew you downloaded. Only way around this is to save every last track(layer) as an MP3, so you can re-add aka re-create every single part of a song you're working on piece by piece every single time.. hoping you remember each exact placement. I searched several websites including videos and no one is covering how to actually fix this.. upgrading this app "fixed some bugs" no they did not.. that is a lie.. didnt fix this extremely important bug.. yet still holds a tab saying you "can" buy the "upgraded" version.. for what? why would this become appealing considering the current issue? .. *Now, i can NOT even click File, or to even load anything(clips). It deleted everything, and i can not do anything.. its just a visual paper weight now. PLEASE FIX, i can handle MP3'ing every aspect of a song(tracks/layers) but this App is REALLY Getting Worse Over Time (Yes, I have the App updated).

Unfortunately, this application cannot store its data on an SD card, so it hogs far too much space on my already crowded phone. It seemed to be working well, but I noticed the space hogging it did caused my Mucrosoft Launcher to uninstall, and it caused several of my favorite applications to disappear because of that. If the developers could make the data storage for the software to be moved to an SD card, I could probably use this software, but I had to uninstall it.
