Absolutely love this app, been using it for years across different phones. Amazing sound quality and a good UI design. Yet, for some reason, every time I try to play a song now, it played for like five seconds then got cut off and played the next song. It just kept on starting new songs, no matter what I tried. If I put it on repeat, it kept repeating the same song. I tried deleting the app the redowbloading it, but to no avail. Guess I gotta use a different app for now :/

everytime I open the app to play music I get a full screen ad, with delayed close out X that changes location. like its trying to trick me to clicking on the add. sometimes my phone connects and starts my last Playlist but I'm not wanting to listen to music and I can't simply open the app to stop it because of the ads popping up. Very uncool.

Great music player. Good features such as shuffle and playlist. Has played all of my mp3s and m4a. Ads are non intrusive and at a minimal. Will upgrade to ad free version soon to show my support. Edit: I still use this player, bit must mention that certain features, such as 'play next', do not work properly.

After organizing your music folder on your phone, you'll discover that the folder-browser layout in this app no longer matches that of your "music" folder! (e.g., pop, audiobooks, jazz, memos), and has no hierarchical layout whatsoever; all your 7,000 audio files are now lumped together into one LONG folder list! If you can't quite remember the name of the song, it'll take you hours to find it! (Try that while driving your car! Ha! ) For an intuitive layout, try Musicolet or Maple Player.

Pros: Plays music in surprisingly good quality. Works for what it advertises. Doesn't drain the battery. Rotates songs well. Cons: "Favorites" playlist is in the order you favorite them, rather than alphabetical, with no option to change it. When the app opens, it can take a while to bring up ALL of your audio files, not just music (which I like and think is good), but this can take several minutes, considering I have over 5000 songs, on top of various voice recordings. Good app, small issues.

Great replacement for Google music. I use it to exclusively listen to music downloaded locally. I like that I am not constantly harassed to subscribe to a streaming service. There are ads in the free version but they are not too bothersome. 4/22: The app now scans for songs every time you open or switch to it. This makes it pretty slow. This annoyance reduces my overall rating.

This app is fine, better than so many others I've tried! Shuffle is not amazing, it will play the same song and miss others. It's difficult to customize an order of songs to be played. Sometimes a video ad will play randomly which is very annoying because I'm rarely on wifi and don't have unlimited data - I definitely don't want to use my data to play an ad. I haven't uninstalled in complete exasperation so that's a bonus. It works it's just great.
