GREAT APP! One doesn't get bogged down w/ridiculous and unnecessary "hoop-jumping" just to play your music. You're able to access through categories (e.g., Songs, Artists, Albums), as well as sort the info. Have tried so many music apps… this is by far the best. I suppose the $4.99/year upgrade to premium is worth it… if anything, just to get rid of the ads. Completely up to you. Me, I prefer a one-time purchase and be done w/it. At any rate, I HIGHLY recommend!

Love the app! Needed something simple and this delivered. Would greatly prefer to be able to see the art I have set for each song while I have it pulled up. Just seeing a blank colored space is a little bit boring and bland design wise in my opinion. Also slightly makes the custimization of the coverart for songs somewhat irrelevant. Overall, not a game changer. Love this all the same!

I really do love this app! Recently though, I've found a few bugs with it. 1. The playlists show on the interface that there are 0 songs in the playlist, even if there are. This doesn't affect the songs in the actual playlist, but is a surface error. 2. Song titles are now getting cut off, which is annoying when looking for them. "Legends Never Die" gets cut off to "Legen...", "Castle" gets cut off to "C..." There doesn't seem to be a reason for the length cut off, either.

The most recent update to Muzio was a big step in the right direction: glitches were fixed, UI was streamlined, and android auto support was a fantastic (albiet somewhat unfinished) addition. Overall this is my favorite music player app for android. It's simple and easy to use while still being feature-rich and customizable. In future updates, I would like to see: bug fixes and improvements for Android Auto, the ability to add songs to albums, and the ability to change text color.

Wayward Stitch

Before last update it used to resume my playlist at the exact same song whenever it reconnected to my car. Now it resumes the same song, but it's playing it from my entire queue, not from the playlist. So confusing/frustrating when a track from my Harry Potter audio book starts playing after an ambient music track. There's no way to make the song play from the playlist again, in order. I have playlists with over a thousand tracks, that last for hours. I want RESUME from playlist like it used to!

This is a really good app. Limited ads too. It cost $9.99 to remove ads and get a few minor extra features. I like how you can add in music lyrics. Overall it's worth it. It does glitch some. This bumps it from 5 stars to 4. Update: it's been nearly two years and some issues still persist after UI update. However many have been resolved. No customer support still improving finally. The time it took to fix bumps this down to three stars though. Keep working at it please.

Ok, but need some tweeks to be great. For instance, running Android 12 UI 4.1 on Samsung S21 5G, can't use the swipe to close feature, even after returning to home screen after closing all windows, app continues to play even though it doesnt appear in taskbar or anywhere as open. You have to reopen the app from the app drawer, then close it manually inside the app, a bit of a pain. Also, not the easiest UI to navigate. Other than those things, It's an OK music player.

Got a new phone and immediately the downloaded Muzio. Much to my dismay, some music files/songs won't play any more, so much that entire albums will no longer play. This was my go to music player because of all the features it had. Unfortunately I may have to look elsewhere now.

Since the last update it's all ads all the time. I get that you need to make a profit somehow, but my god it's every single time you hit the back button, every single time you play a song. Full screen ads with tiny X buttons in the corner that you definitely can't safely hit while you're driving. Dangerous and annoying. One every now and again was fine but this is just excessive. And $10 for ad free??? Insane.

It gives me the option to edit the name of songs, artist, and cover photos, ect but never actually saves the things I input (even when I allow the app access to modify the names and hit the 'save changes') That one issue REALLY upsets me because I can't ever find a song by its real title, artist or genre. Aside from that that app isn't bad. You can view videos, photos, ringtones ect. I don't use those features but they exist. There's customizable settings, notification bar and drive mode.
