I have deficits in executive functioning, specifically in working memory, from long-covid since December 2020. I'm in a long-covid therapy program at a local hospital, and my therapist recommended this app. It adjusts the workouts according to my needs. This app has contributed to my progress. We use it sometimes in therapy sessions, and I can use it at home. I highly recommend this app for anyone with memory issues or deficits caused by age, long-covid, strokes, or neurological health issues.

Love this app. My only issue is with "Baggage Claim". For some reason the list of cities drops to the bottom of my screen and I can only ever see the top two options and am therefore limited to the number I can select that I remember. I know it's not meant to do this because the first time I ever played the "mini game" it functioned fine, but now does not. The list of cities to remember and the secondary task (alphabetizing, selecting the bag, and clicking the letters) always works fine.

Things I love about this app: The games are accessible and fun, when I don't get a new high score I almost always want to try again and they are all available to play freely or set into pre set packages set up for you or aspects of special focus. What I like but could use some work: I was able to get the pro edition, but when it's chunked into a one big payment, it makes it less accessible to those with lower income. Games "for you", I feel, should focus on areas you need improvement.

I really enjoy this app a lot. I use it when I need to focus my brain on something. And this app is great for that, it keeps me from wasting my time on mindless games and other apps. Only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because of the "spin cycle" game. It's a simple game where you identify whether or not the statement is true or false about the shapes you are viewing. Quanity is a match, color is a mismatch, all regarding to the shapes that were shown right before it. However. When it asks you "speed is a mismatch" or "speed is a match" it's nearly impossible to get his correct. There seems to be more than 10 speeds and some of them are barely faster or slower. I've played this game quite often, maybe I'm just blind but I've been almost CERTAIN that the speed was definitely different. It would go from a speeding rocket, and the next one would be moving like a turtle. The statement says " the speed is a match", which would be false because clearly the speed was not a match, however it ALWAYS counts me wrong. Sometimes the speed looks almost identical and it counts me wrong when it says it's a match. Maybe I'm crazy... But I think peak should look into this.

Just installed, plan on buying the premium version and sticking with it for a while until it loses its novelty. Enjoyable games, basic to begin with but presumably as I get consistent ratings the challenge will increase. I'd like for the statistics to be more specific, factoring in a person's total activity in game, time of installation and peak rating, to see where, at what stage of progression, you compare to others.

The games are well designed and balanced for stretching your mental muscles. But the app is a disaster, with frequent restarts so you can't get into the games. Even if phone is freshly rebooted. Didn't happen when it was new, perhaps it's loading my entire history into memory in a very inefficient way. In any case, it badly needs an update to improve stability. There's also a severe bug with on-screen keyboard support -- having the numeric dial pad appear in a game of typing words is not a good thing.

The number of ads make the free version virtually unplayable (it def has more ads than comparable "brain games" like Lumosity and Elevate). Now, you can't play if you aren't connected to the internet. I'm uninstalling because there are several better options available.
