The redesign is indeed a vast improvement. Some design decisions aren't to everyone's taste but the improvement is there and is appreciated. UPDATE: Much needed feature on 5.4. When you put the app in the background and reopen it, it retains the view you were in. Can't recommend this app enough now. It was my only missing feature. Now it's just perfect!! Thank you!

I've used Pixel for my tunes for two years now. I've also purchased it two times as well. I like the categories it has set up and the option of an equalizer. I do wish it had an option to scan device for new songs. It connects to my car easily and even has a drive option, which I use.

It's great for most of my music listening, podcasts and radio stations. The individual album covers are embedded in each song's TAG file, but the artist's pictures shown in the Pixel+ ALBUM view come from Discogs, which is a crowd-sourced dB that is a mess in a lot of areas, but getting better. Best audio app out there, free or paid. Very straightforward. Thank you.

This application really good music player. It has everything you need, from equalizer to draw your music file where ever in your phone they maybe. It allows you to customize dark to light themes plus an abundance of accent colors to choose from. FM RADIO to downloading album cover and lyrics. I give it 4.7👍 well done.

I like this app, and I really like the simplicity (exactly what I was looking for). There is one bug I cannot overcome: Once I turned on "shuffle" I cannot turn it off. It seems impossible to have a playlist that will play sequentially. I hope the developer reads this and has some advice.

Crashed twice while playing music over Bluetooth the first day I tried it. As such, there was no second day. If it was able to play music without crashing though, it would be fine.

I have the same playlist on my Samsung note. This player only shuffles and plays alot of the same songs over and over. Which means bad algorithm & is very frustrating to have to skip to the next song, instead of the option to play in the order listed. I find myself carrying my old phone, just for music.

Can't move ahead on song. Only skip to end. No visible slider to move position in song. Claims to do podcast, no viewable mechanism for that. Support did not respond to questions. No documentation. I paid $ to remove ads.

It will not show in android auto. Therefore I cannot control it with the steering wheel buttons to change tracks. I have to change the song using the phone which is problematic. When I got to customize on the android auto app it odes not show up as being supported and cannot seem to find a way to add it. With my Samsung s10 "Samsung Music" showed up no problem. I struggle to understand how google has not looked into this. Therefore this application is useless as it is when I need to use it, driving!
