Ulasan untuk MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter
I lost about 24 pounds while using this the first time and have used it to maintain my weight since then. I never got premium for it and still got pretty good results. It's not the end all be all of getting/staying fit, but it's a tool that might work for you if food journalling and tracking your workouts fits your goals I will say though the new layout is truly awful in comparison to the old UX design. Really a step back for what is otherwise a very functional app. I docked a star for that
I have been happy with this app for 5 years until the latest update. I can't even open the app. It flashes on my screen and will not open. I agree with other users that water intake should be part of the widget on the new interface. But even that is a moot point when the app won't open. I paid for premium access and can't use it. 7/5/2022-I changed my rating to 4 stars since multiple updates to the app resolved the problem I was having with the app crashing every time I attempted to open it.
Not a fan of the latest design update. The default home screen takes forever to load, so it can take a half minute or so just to be able to enter my weight record. When I click on "complete diary" at the end of the day, that, too takes a few more seconds to finish as well. The design itself is okay, not as easy to view and skim as the classic layout, and the data display isn't intuitive.
They have done some good work with the dashboard and the widgets. Lately though the scanner doesn't work properly and requires multiple scans before it finds the correct item. Also noticed many of my normal foods just won't scan anymore. Not sure what is going on. Otherwise does a good job.
This app is pretty good when it comes to logging food and weight. It has been fundamental in my weight loss journey, and helped me lose 40 pounds so far. Although it does have it's bugs, it works well. My issue with the app is that at one point, the app would not open no matter what I would do. Assuming it backed up to their servers, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. When installed and logged in, all my data from February to now was gone. It's very inconvenient and why I left 2 stars.
7/4- that didn't work. The calories still do not show when using the list of meals. Someone decided a box for a picture of the meal was more important, it seems there's no place for the calories to show now. When adding a meal from my meals , the list used to show the calories for the meal. Now it just shows carbs, fat and protein. Please put the calories back in the list so a person could see them without having to open up the meal
I've loyally used MFP for ~10 years. The new design is officially making me switch to another app. I tried to give it a chance, but features I used are gone. The widget on Android is huge and they cut the simple "+" button. I generally quick add my calories for simple tracking, so being able to do that from my home screen was the best. It's gone. I have to open the whole app and navigate several items to quick add my cals. Nothing quick about it.
The fact that the app is not user friendly is the first issue. Secondly, so many items are not found when scanned and it's a long issue to put an item in. Many of the items are entered incorrectly, which is seen when you view the app information and the package information. It is possible these aren't issues if you pay for the app, but I'm not going to pay for something that isn't accurate and that is a headache to use.
I've begun to realize that much of the nutrition data, even the so-called verified ones, are wrong. Worse, because of a poorly thought-out UI, there is no way to flag them. Flagging requires sending updated nutrition data but doesn't allow you to select a different serving size... as-in what is actually on the package. Related if we know how much 1 ounce is worth, we automatically know 1 gram and the app should convert. But sometimes both are provided and the (simple) math isn't even close.
I recently subscribed to have the premium. I have had nothing but issues with it being some timey 99% stuck on a blue screen. I have made sure my NEW phone had all updates, turned the phone on and off countless times and uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times. I have wrote the support group. No actual number to call for HELP! I heard wonderful things about this app but, I can't recommend at this point.
